My first bait drop with the new SwellPro FD1 Drone

I got me the new FD1 drone from SwellPro to do some more Shark Tagging , and i have to say I'm very happy with the drone, easy and quick to set up and to fly.
this is not a camera drone , if you after that you should look at the Splash Drone 4 , the FD1 is a clear fishing drone , she is solid build , strong with a good flight time under payload , i did three 350 to 400m drops with around 1,5 kg payload and the battery voltage was at 15.6v

Is it worth getting the basic or FPV for surf fishing? How far can you see the drone without the camera?

Yes mate the fpv google are useless as they losing signal after 150 meter .i do between 300 and 500 meter drops and can see the drone still

@@Max-um6oj I only using for shark tagging mate , I have also a swell pro spry plus for filming and I'm happy with both mate . Batterie maintance is very important get you a good smart charger. @@teamjawsaustralia yes please. I didn’t have a chance to go out and pick one up as I got caught up. Can you please do a in depth review with a paganosta rig and a size 4 sinker? Battery life, amount of drops with 400m distance?

This video could have been soooo much better if the camera was on controller at startup and on reel to see how much line you had. Also video of the bait drop and return to home switching would have been great.

Thanks for the tips mate you won't see the bait drop as it is 400 meters away but yes you right the camera was not always in a good spot
