Love to see your old vlog, I was there on my honeymoon 30 yrs ago - a very long way from Ireland but it was an amazing place, be nice to see it all again. the whole time i was watching the vlog before i even got to the end, i just knew you had thoughts going in your mind during your trip cuz i relate SO much!! i’m 27 now but dealt a whole lot with women rejecting me throughout my pre-teen, teen and early 20s and i now realize how much of a lie that has been all my life. it was such an enemy scheme to keep me from connecting with women that would edify me and encourage me in love. i no longer let my past experiences lead my present and future experiences, but i can’t lie, the thoughts still come of feeling a bit fearful of how women will perceive me and if they’ll accept me. all in all, none of that really matters because at the end of the day, God will keep the women in our lives that are meant to be there and it won’t require us to prove ourselves in some way in order for people to stay. love ya sister in Christ! you are a stunning woman of God, a marvelous mother and the sweetest wife. 🦋

Yes such an encouragement!! I feel like God has redeemed this area so much and I am able to unashamedly pursue women who I want to be friends with. I think this trip showed me there is a specific feeling of unworthiness I get around certain people, which God wants to heal, because my worth was settled at the cross!

i remember when you first moved to hawaii, you mentioned in a video about making new friends. you said something along the lines of being bold in speaking with someone you’d like to have a friendship with and being okay to be the one to reach out first. during that time in my life i felt that was impossible but that truly stuck with me and so the Lord helped me grow into that over the years. it’s always beautiful to reflect on how much the Lord has transformed us even if there’s still little things that need a bit more healing. rooting for us!!

You totally said exactly how I feel every time I put myself out there with friendships. My kids new school have SO many cliques and it’s hard to feel welcome and comfortable. I’ll even insert myself best I can and the looks… instead of having a conversation with me as well. I shake it off to a point but it also makes me uncomfortable and not want to go to any more events there. The old school they went to before, it was so easy to make friends and all the moms had the best dynamics and no drama. Anyway, I’m proud of you for doing the trip and getting outside your comfort zone.

I’ve also battled with rejection by other women most of my childhood. Even now at 27, I really struggle with knowing how to get close to other women because of it. I’m praying for a group of Godly women who I can truly grow alongside of and not just talk about surface level things or gossip when together.

Heyy, girl I love your vlogs!! You asked for advice in a recent video, so I feel that I should tell you. I really hope you don’t get this wrong way! I think that if you put a bit more effort into making videos more consistently, with a structured editing and planning for your content, your channel could grow SO MUCH! You are very sweet and share nice calm content, which is hard to find nowadays! So with a bit more organization I think you could have an even more successful career. Anyway, just my opinion! I completely relate to the feeling of being rejected by women. I have never had a good close female friend. The last female friend I had, I thought we were good close friends but it turns out she would tell people bad things about be behind my back and would have no respect for my boundaries. So I’m back to zero. You are not alone in that!❤️‍🩹
