Function of beauty!!!!!! I used to have to wash my hair DAILY in order to keep it dry. Now I am able to wash my hair once a week!

I've had laser treatments done for the past few years, and it has been amazing, highly recommend it to you! I got it every 6 weeks at first, then it was less and less frequent. I have an amazing therapist, and never could tolerate waxing, I take painkillers before my treatments and it's the nicest thing, 4 years on and I have next to no hair

I can vouch for lazer hair removal too! 1000 times better than waxing. Mind you my wax therapist used to tell me that Lazer hair removal would be very painful, and I believed her for YEARS!, until I couldn't take the pain any more. Turns out Lazer hair removal is a picnic compared to waxing and I've saved money in the long run.

GIRLLLL i'm Brazilian and even I can't put up with the pain this type of waxing causes 😂😂. I've done it a few times and it's just like you said, it feels like your skin it's getting ripped out of your body, not a good feeling! Ps: love your channel, big hug for you from Brazil ❤️❤️

I highly recommend laser treatment! It doesn’t hurt and as someone with very sensitive skin there was no redness and say goodbye to ingrown hairs! Worth it

In Birmingham, there is a very trusted place that is $35 and lots of people in the medical field use it. They use hard wax. In my opinion, it is way better and less painful than sugar wax. Your first wax hurts like hell and then it gets easier. My first wax after Covid was hell. The second one was a breeze. Try it out. Everyone is really nice. Its not that far from Tuscaloosa.

I’m cracking up 😂 me and my friends are in our 30s.....and we meet up on Saturday mornings, every 4 weeks for our Brazilians (we see each other most weekends and several times during the week) It’s not that scary or bad. It totally depends on your pain tolerance. The first time is the worst, but it wasn’t terrible for me, one of my friends was almost in tears 🤣 You have to keep it up, and a LEGIT waxing place is necessary. They make you feel more comfortable just putting it all out there! I highly recommend it.....wish I would have done it years ago!

Oh honey I am sitting here laughing so much. Not laughing at what you went through but girl the way you are telling it.... I really lost it when you said you can't listen to Post Malone without being traumatised. I have never been waxed and now I never will. Thanks for taking one for the team.

Lauren!! I worked at a hair salon for over a year and a half; I am also an oily hair gal!!! I LOVE Redken products!!!! All of their shampoos and conditioners are great for us oily gas. I personally use the All-Soft shampoo because I have color treated hair and it helps keep my hair from breakage and damage, and I also use the matching conditioner and sometimes the Frizz Dismiss!! Hope this helps!

I’ve heard sugaring is a lot more painful than hard wax. I get Brazilians and love them. But that first one after quarantine was horrific. I thought it was going to pass out 😂 it was worse than the first one I ever had ever. God bless you Lauren because your experience was super traumatic

Girl! I got my first Brazilian last month, & it hurt sooooo bad! But as soon as it’s done the pain is gone & I love the results! Lol i think my wax lady thought I was crazy because I would nervously just burst out laughing after each rip! 😂

My first Brazilian post Covid sucked but I’ve been getting them for like 4-5 years now so it wasn’t too horrible. The first time you get a Brazilian hurts like hell, but they get better each time.

I would try Head and Shoulders! I find their product to actually be really drying on my hair but that might work really well for you! For my hair to become really oily, it depends on how much I touch my hair in a day (flipping it back and forth or combing my fingers through it), if I'm outside sweating, or anything like that. Maybe see what you do in a day that results to your hair becoming oily?! The more you touch your hair, the more dirt and other oils you're putting into it. You might even be someone who just has to wash it more often as well. Some people can skip out on a few days. But you might need to just wash it more often like every 2 days or so! Try things out :)

Not a shampoo but a hair mask. Try the brand “Found” Apple cider vinegar hair mask and rinse solution. I’ve been using it for a year now (around once a week or every other week) and no dandruff as well as no oily scalp!

In my experience, honey and/or sugar wax were way more painful than the “normal” wax! Even though they say they are supposedly more gentle on the skin... 😬

Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo does the job girl! I have very oily hair and skin and have used this shampoo for 10 years now and can go 3 to 4 days before having to rewash my hair before any oil starts to accumulate

Act and Acres has a detox OIL product. Seems weird to use oil to get rid of it, but it works! I let the oil sit for 20 min (put oil on scalp get in the hair not on the hair!) then wash REALLY well like three times getting deep in the scalp with Ameka Shampoo, the signature orange bottle. IT WORKS! my scalp was so oily it was horrible. Cheaper alternative head and shoulders extra strength blue bottle, yes it works for oil, not just dandruff. Hope that helps!

I have 2a hair, oily roots, dry scalp and mids/ends. I switched to Regis Mend the Ends shampoo and Moisture conditioner and my hair is sooo much better! Head and shoulders strips the natural oils and proteins, usually leaving the hair drier. But, always talk to your normal hair stylist for their recommendations beforehand and see what they think!

I’ve been waxing for 30 yrs on clients. Pin point bleeding is normal. But honestly hard wax is thr way to go. Sugar waxing I feel is super painful.

I use the biolage hydra source shampoo and it helped me a ton. Something else I recommend it actually washing it less. This helps detox your hair and trains it not to get oily as fast. I know it sounds crazy, but it worked for me. Hope it helps :)

Lauren you are my favorite! So insane how the person below me took my comment, but I just started using Herbal Essence's Smooth Rose, both the shampoo and conditioner, and it works wonders! I normally would buy from a salon but haven't been recently because of COVID. This makes me not even miss the salon shampoo options! You can get it at any grocery store or walmart, target, etc.

I know you might not see this, but honestly oily hair is usually a result from not conditioning enough. Your hair will get more oily bc its not moisturized enough so its a natural response from your scalp to produce more oil onto the hair. Dove is great products and its so moisturizing to my hair, I have dyed my hair for years and it helps with any damage.

I've had great experiences for the most part with Brazilian waxing. I do have dark hair but also have a high pain tolerance. I have a waxing lady that is the best & she uses hard wax. It took time to find a good waxer & it makes all the difference. My fiance has even done my brazillian waxes for me when money was really tight. My relationship with my fiance is the best lol It took him a few waxes to get better but I prefer going to my waxer as she finishes in under 20 minutes.

OMG literally the worst wax story I've heard hahaha. How brutal!!! I'd love a video on your shaving tips if that's not too weird... I HATE shaving down there because I feel like no matter what I do, it always ends up a red and irritated mess! P.S. Living Proof PhD shampoo and conditioner has transformed my oily hair to hair that I only have to wash once a week -- literally my hair's saving grace!

European wax center is great! Especially for waxes down there but don't get it waxed if you have long hair and I wish I could shave but my skin is too sensitive and the eurpoean wax centers wax is really good and great for sensitive skin!

I am red haired and this explains why I had such a nasty experience with getting my brows done. It hurted so much I had to cry and afterwards it turned red with bumps. People said I was probably exaggerating the pain. Well, this explains I wasn't. Never gonna do it again in my life.

I have oily hair and I love the Redken All Soft shampoo. I used to use like daily clarifying shampoo which did get all the oil out but I felt like it left my hair feeling super dry and frail. The Redken one I use now is magical. It gets the oil out but still leaves my hair feeling soft and amazing 🥰

My favorite shampoo for when my hair is oily is Soak And Float by Lush! 🧖🏻‍♀️ It’s a must! ✨ Also, brazilian right here and I have no idea why it is called the “brazilian wax”! 🇧🇷 But yeah, I already did that! Haha!
