W bro. Im 18 my first car was also a malibu got a 2017 malibu Lt. all black. Added black wheel caps, black louvers, black rain skirts ( for windows) 138k miles, blue/black steering wheel cover, blue/black seat covers, and blue rugs 😤
Man bro I have a 2018 Malibu, they good good gas good miles , is just GM didn’t put enough effort to make the car efficient at all times, it has so many sensor that if you do end up getting one bro, make sure u get that dealership warranty, some of this Malibu’s most of the GM recall slots of 2016 . They have a sensor gas miss firing that cause the car to (motor vehicle speed has been reduce) u got from 65 to 20 on a lock speed on a freeway is really dangerous. Heads up bro bro .

Oh hey, I have a 2017 LT but I did have a pretty scary problem with the gas pedal losing the ability to accelerate on the freeway. It's not a recall for some crazy reason. But if you already haven't had it fixed maybe you should ask your dealer about it before you end up with a major issue like I had. I'm not sure if it's an issue for the 2016 but it's always better to be safe then sorry.
I have a Chevy Malibu 2018 ls n is having the gas pedal acceleration sensor is misfiring GM should cover with the warranty, is (motor engine has been reduce) on a freeway is really dangerous. Could have a accident not knowing the car would shut down in the middle of no where. Feel like (GM)should recall all Malibu’s ,
@@elchimacortez8808 It absolutely should be a recall! The dealership didnt use my warranty to cover it. It was almost a year ago so I cant remember the exact term they used but it was basically a defect the manufacturer would cover, like a recall but not public, but the whole thing seemed really suspicious. Why on earth isn't there a recall? The way it happened for me, I was on the freeway in front of a diesel and I could have been killed. Thank god I was already in the right hand lane so i was able to pull off and get to safety. Its absolutely a life threatening defect.
It is an actual recall. I have yet to do it for my 2016 1LT since I've read reports that this very issue happens after the new part. GM extended this special coverage til 100K+ miles
Incorrect. TPMS sensors itself are never replaced unless there are an actual defect due to age. I'd get a different shop to check it out if I were you.

Your in luck for a bad time if you dont know the serious issues about this car. How can I say that? Well I personally own this exact car (Since 2016) with 89,600 miles and on the 2nd motor with about 30K miles now. The first motor blew up at 59K miles. The pistons are pre-matured crack from the factory. You will start to hear a spark knock sound while driving or under WOT (Wide open throttle). ALWAYS USE 5W-30 FULL SYNTHETIC. If its under warranty. Have the dealer apply all the latest ECU updates when applicable and if they suspect that the pistons no good. Have them replace it under powertrain warranty. Trust me, I learned the hard way. The roof liner leaks so there will be water stains on interior c-pillar or water in your trunk in the spare tire well. That special coverage actually expired back in 2019 unfortunately. USE 91 Octane gas. Dis-regard what the manual says for 87. Its a turbo charged car that requires high octane fuel. There are a lot more to note but these are the main ones to look out for.
Haha what you called an odometer is a tachometer, it counts how much revs your engine is doing and for each digit its x1000. An odometer counts your milage lol
