You will not be disappointed. The Sony FX30 is now my A-camera. It’s a pleasure to work with. There was a little learning curve since I started with Nikon a while back. So worth the effort tho. Take care ✌️😎

I'm so happy for you. You look ecstatic. Moving up in the world! So what is 10 bits do for you that 8 bits doesn't?

Thank you ! Yes 10 bit has more dynamic range than 8 bit ( a lot more room to move around colors) and slog3 works better in 10 bit than 8 bit. Slog3 is a flat profile of your footage which allows you to move the colors more in post when grading.
