Nep, do you think the game has lost something in terms of the lack of starter team grind now? I remember playing through the divisions with 75-80 rated gold cards and finding “cheap beasts” but it is now so easy to get 85+ rated teams.

The biggest issue with this game is ball retention without anticipate. Tackling is genuinely horrendous and the bounces are disgusting

i have noticed fouls this year have been very weird. some tackles that are 100% reds are yellows or warnings and then some times you make a good tackle in the box and it a pen and red. i even had it a couple days ago the audio of the commentator saying "thats a amazing tackle" was abruptly cut off for him to say "oh penalty!" 😂

So happy no short form content on this rtg! It's so refreshing to see bit of long form in this world of short form content , always watch your vids with a bit of lunch :)

So glad your back being true to the content that makes you happy as opposed to trying to please an algorithm or fit into the 'new' style high octane content. Not watched nep in years and I've come across him after watching TBJZL do his player career and he's still doing RTG. Love it. Pure nostalgia

I absolutely love evos. As a fan of a Swedish league team it feels amazing to finally be able to use some of our players without sacrificing too much. So far only the bronze one has been reasonable for one our players (and Swedish players for the others), but he went up to 99 agility and balance. He’s by far the best card we’ve ever had in the game and I’m looking forward to doing more of our players. I can’t wait to have a full Hammarby or Swedish team finally be usable in rivals

I can really relate to the seal out and having to press tackle. I think that's why so many people struggle against R1 dribbling.

I have been watching Nep since Fifa 11 and I have always loved the fact his videos are over the 30min mark far too many youtubers just put out short form content even on a RTG all you get is a few packs and a few goals for gameplay. Doing my own Spurs past and present evo RTG and loving the fact I have to work to get better at the game rather than just sticking to whatever the meta is.

Love the longer videos they’re far more insightful for someone like me who doesn’t have the time to play the amount of games a lot of people do in a day so these videos show me the things which are worth doing with the time I can play. Just my opinion. Keep up the great content Nep.❤

After hearing the comment of the guy saying he'd like the videos to be 12 minutes, I absolutely disagree, I don't play fifa/FC anymore but have been heavily interested because of these longer format videos where it genuinely feels like I'm back into it so please do keep it up Nep, loving the content

Love the long content. I missed this so much in the 2nd half of last years game. I’m struggling with input lag, I’ll press pass or shoot even do a skill move & the player takes a few more steps to do the input or just doesn’t do it at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Just to say Nep, I like some of these longer videos. I know one of the comments said to condense into smaller ones but nothing wrong with a bit of variety. Also good for helping to understand the game a bit more. Keep it up 👍🏾

Nep, what are your thoughts on the gameplay this year. I feel it is enjoyable when you are attacking but when you try and do a simple 2 yard pass they can not do it.

The best tip to improve in this game is indeed, Let go of the sprint button. Defending is hard, you auto jockey around the attacker way to easy. When trying to correct movement. Also even if you press tackle and get the ball. Players just stand there to see them lose the ball in the same second. A lot of clunky encouters during standing tackles. Or the fact that the computer seems to be running away from attackers also seems a frustrating part, since you kinda want to switch into a fast tackle but if they move out of the way, your out of position. and sometime due to this, you no longer change to that player, and instead get a different defender. Therefor killing your own brain. while doing nothing to stop your opponent.

Fun Video as always Nep. I would say though libertadores cards do count as golds in SBCs (as someone who has used a bunch) Its based on rating though. 75+ rating for it to be a gold. All of those cards have counted for me (bronze anything up to 64, silver is 65-74)

I’m so close to finishing my Bobby Clark evo, 57 rated Liverpool CM and will end up a 84. One hell of a grind but it’ll be fun to use somebody you’d never be able to in previous years

Too many people making the same sort of content nowadays, if you created 10-12 minute road to glory videos it would be the same as other people’s rtg videos. I watch nep to help myself figure out tips and tricks and the long videos really help that. Keep up the content 👍🏽

I’ve never changed my team (defence especially) this much this soon, I’m only an average player but everyone is so sweaty this year, gameplay is so good yet all anyone does is runs down the line and sweats it for tap-ins. I don’t want to rant but the game only officially came out today and it’s already this sweaty, can’t wait for champs 😆

how did people got those founder evolution ?

Do we know RTTK will get stat upgrades or is that assumption? It could very well be the RTTK cards will get a Playstyle based on what they have contributed - i.e. Saka scores unreal header to win a game and receives the power header playstyle - EA said playstyles are suppose to reflect the players in real life so lets see. It may be why the stats are so high from the jump.
