Thank you for what you do! ... I work with special needs adults and I’ve taken these classes every 2 years for what seems like forever and they always come out like this 😂😂😂 but this year the lights where working and I had to hold the beat for like 3 mins solid and I kept telling the instructor “am I done yet” lol them 3 mins felt like forever ( I never felt so out of shape before lol I clearly do not have the upper body strength I thought I had ) 😂😂 I’d prefer for the lights to not work lol

This is just great. I took a CPR/AED course 3 times (once in middle school, twice in high school) and EVERY TIME, I would be the only person out of the whole class who would even bother saying Automated External Defibrillator.

Years ago when I was a lifeguard at an in-service training someone decided to be funny and reset all the training AEDs to Spanish, which could be done on that particular model by just flipping a switch in the back.

I actually got to do my first CPR on my last day of clinical like last week! O_O it was really cool to be able to do but unfortunaly the pt didnt make it. T_T RIP. We all tried to do what we could to save her. BUUuuuut I did think of the song "stayin alive" to keep track of my rhythm, but I couldnt keep count of how many, im glad others were able to switch with me when I got tired. This video made me laugh, theyre so relatable!! LOLzz I love watching your vids to help brighten my day! Thank you Blake! ^_^

I used to be an instructor at a water park and cpr was my fav test out because they knew what they were doing but if I so much as exhaled they would panic like “what was it did I mess up is he dead now.”....me:”girl no I’m sorry I was just breathing.”.....

I am retired EMT & CCMA and I swear I can not remember clearing a scene for safety..but then I have had 4 respiratory arrests from asthma attacks + SPMS so my brain & memory has some tiny little spots....🤣 thanks Blake for your very wonderful videos

During my first checkoff, my partner with the AED unzipped it in a panic while standing up, and the device landed on my dummy's face. L0L0L0L0L0L0L. This was my 2nd semester of nursing school. I graduate in 2 months and needless to say, a simulated rapid response and code blue.... us "senior" students (as our professors call us) killed our fake patient. :(

Heh...our teacher's helper was a lifeguard and had to take cpr and she said that they made her say "Annie, Annie, are you okay?" and shake their shoulder somewhat roughly. She apparently said "Well if you ARE okay then why would we be doing all this?" so anytime someone in our class is hurt we shake their shoulder and say "Annie, Annie, are you okay?" and they usually say "No" and if they are okay, usually start laughing.
