My FIRST crochet market!!! Prep | vlog | how much $$ I made 

I just started doing markets this year and one thing I've learned fast is you can never predict what people will buy. I've sold out of an item at one market and then the next time I go to that same market no one even looks at it. Just keep making the beautiful things you enjoy making. Sometimes it takes a couple of markets for someone to pick it up, but someone will and their face will light up. Such a great feeling. Keep pressing. You're doing amazing.

YAY I loved this! I love watching market prep/day videos and it is very hard to find ones where people sell things other than plushies! I thought your table looked awesome for your first time, and signage is everything when it comes to in person markets!! It helps draw people into your booth and it can potentially increase sales becuase sometimes people are shy and won’t ask the price!

I can relate. I've just started getting serious with getting my crochet business off the ground and so I started getting into markets just this year. I've so far done 4 markets. Like you it's sort of a waiting game too.🙏🥰

Please don’t take this the wrong way only I thought although the table cover is pretty I felt it was too busy….. maybe a plain table cloth would then highlight your awesome work! The items were fantastic 🙌👍🏻

I'm having my first market on Memorial Weekend. It is nice to find someone else who isn't that into making plushies. I am making some since they sell but I don't want to focus on plushies, I just don't know what other crochet items sell. I also have macrame items. I'm gonna have bandanas, keychains/bag charms, maybe car hangers and bookmarks, a couple bags, crochet plants, baskets, and coasters. That is the crochet stuff I'll have. I probably won't have a lot of macrame because it takes a long time to make and coming up with designs is a slow process. I'm gonna continue watching your video, maybe post more after the video. Thanks for the video and your time.

Gurl .. Your table was "great" for your 1st one. At my first show/ fair.. I didn't know how much to bring, didnt want to bring to much. Definitely if you can do another one, add more variety but "Dont" tske any personal!.. lol! Always remember, when people look at our table, but still walk away... that's also a "Compliment"! Some people are in "awe/ amazed" at Crafters "Talent":) New Subscriber!
