That 23 year old Principal running that school is real as fuck. Making sacrifices to bring education to his community at that age is respectable as hell. I hope you continue to support that community
That man is a legend! Giving selflessly to the future generations. This brought tears to my eyes. At such a young age with no resources.. what a hero man 💕
@@KeemMarlyArtist And now you think that's how the whole Nigeria is? That's the poorest place in Lagos. You americans really need to start traveling. Hopefully, Kai will show you the normal and affluent part of Lagos. Just to add, when I see how people live in Appalachia or San Francisco, I realise how spoilt I am in Nigeria.
@@mustyhadji5622 and you need to get off the internet because how you gone twist what I said too fit your narrative.. where did I say that’s how I view the whole Nigeria. I’m sure it has its good and bad.. just like every country
@@KeemMarlyArtistignore him bro they take offense to every little thing when they should be taking offense at their leaders. Beautiful people but the living conditions down there is beyond sad and that’s just facts
I’m crying… This makes me so emotional!!! As a Nigerian, I am grateful for this visit. People are really suffering …Thank you Kai for making things easier for them.❤❤
I got so emotional watching this. It's so important to give back. As a dentist living in the US I've gone back and forth to Jamaica on dental missionary trips and every time the goal is to help others. The irony is... they always end up helping me more! Helping me stay grounded, humbled and just a better human being! Thanks for sharing this experience Kai! The people needed to see this!! 💪🏽✊🏽
Im not gonna lie, i teared up listening to that principal of the school. Kai asked him what he wants for his office and the guy immediately ignored his own office and wanted support for the building in general and more classrooms
Makoko can be transformed to a little Venice. Nice heritage that tells our Afican story of struggle, courage and determination. Big ups to Kai & Shank🎉
I’m a 45 year old man and it bought tears to my eyes to see that 23 year old man ask for things for his students instead of himself! My respect has grown immensely for Kai and this trip
im a 93 year old man and it bought tears to my eyes to see that 23 year old man ask for things for his students instead of himself! My respect has grown immensely for Kai and this trip
Never watched Kai, I see why he's so lit. His energy is amazing, high vibrations instantly in this video!😊 So nice to see their energy in Nigeria🎉 Cant wait to go🤩
Does it? Because he’s going to cash out, make snide comments about his host and upload it on RU-vid. He’s creating a more toxic look for Africa than anyone else.
This brought tears to my eyes.... We Nigerians are actually good people, condition just make crayfish bend. Thanks for doing this Kai, thanks for coming home. God bless and reward you.
Not even the more wealthy black celebs did what this man did in this 20 minute video. We all as black people think of giving back this way but you actually did it thank you.
wow i cried when the kids did the love clap. and even in their circumstance, they're still so full of joy, while most of us over here are angry at nothing. gotta appreciate everything you have fr.
I feel like I experienced this on a much smaller scale living in the inner city, but the beautiful thing is you really dont mind or know different until you start to get glimpses of how other kids your age are living.
my first trip to africa changed me too. Alot of developed areas in Africa that dont get much shine, but man those underdeveloped areas will completely change your perspective on life.
As a Ghanaian, i feel like Nigeria is always talked down on, but never helped. Literally love it when big influencers represent and have sympathy and ACTUALLY take action in their word. Nigerians are lovin you even more rn Kai!! 🇳🇬
Welcome to any black culture world wide. Black people have been mislead and defeated globally, with stolen Africans in America getting the worse of it. Iykyk
Kind of video I expected Ksi to make, he's widely known as Nigerian. But it's like he abandoned the mother land. Kai cenat serves as inspiration to us to be compassionate for each other. Well done you have done a great job and I am proud. Earned my sub for this manifestation of care.
Couldn't stop the tears when I saw those kids in that condition...The love and smiles on their faces was priceless...Much love from Cameroon ❤ God bless you Kai 💯
look at this shit bro, he landed in a new country, he didn't check in to his luxurious hotel but went straight to where help is needed. Why won't God keep blessing Kai. We can't wait to have you in GHANA soon
How do you know he went straight there? You’d have to be gullible to believe he went to a slum and took his passport and other personal property with him 🤦. He is not some kinda hero despite what you gullible Africans would love to believe
You can tell Kai’s heart was breaking when he saw those kids living in those conditions. We complain so much about what we have but yet they have so little and they are happy
My life when walk around.. I watch my young brothers or other kids in those condition but we can't do much...and thats why most boys or young men venture into scamming work
Damn , that classroom full of kids smiling and welcoming Kai is really a tear jerker fr. So sad , but it's life for them . Definitely have to take things as a blessing with anything you have .
Kai I started tearing up seeing that class full of kids you are such a strong individual to see that and still bring smiles to their faces you truly are a blessing of god
My brother was 23 years old, the principal, humble and worried about where kids would sleep. We take so much for granted and have the wrong idea of Africans. I enjoyed this.
They are actually more rich and humble they just don’t know how to spend their money right and how I know that is bc my friend is Nigerian and she is so sweet “ just don’t get on her bad side😂”😊
@@tyasiacooper4518excuse me? They just don’t know how to spend their money? You think poverty in Africa is due to lack of money management? Go unalive yourself.
@@YT-xk5jlsilly video about Nigeria? Bro be more sensitive, this are people going through a lot man, forget the banter with annoying Nigerians online, this is a reality that many Africans live in
im crying rn. this video showed me how grateful i should be with my current conditions. kai is really kind and he likes to give back to his community. he knows how grateful he should be and i love how he never takes what he has for granted.
@@staymadloser7754 He's trini and hatian, lmao, ignoring where he was born, he's more biologically and culturally close to Africans than Black Americans.
Awww those kids love claps! I smiled the whole time. I hope you are able to do great things for those children without greedy adults scamming or trying to take advantage of their blessing. Nigeria really showed u love!
This genuinely made me cry, I wish for all of them to have better opportunities and we all wish we had money to do these things. I’m glad Kai is going out there making a difference. Something is better than nothing
INSHA ALLAH we’ll achieve to change lives, the intention is everything bro, God will bless you with millions to change millions of lives around the world soon
Currently sobbing while watching this. I’m going through one of the toughest periods of my life and struggling mentally and emotionally more than i can express, but all it takes is seeing something like this to really put things in perspective. We are not alone in our suffering or our struggles and there are millions around the world that are so much worse of than we are. Remaining grateful and humble is essential. God bless you kai and all you’re doing to give back. One of my favorite youtubers and you never fail to brighten my day and make me laugh. LOVE to AMP and NIGERIA ❤️❤️
This was probably the most exciting video I've seen in a long time, just seeing how much love you got there and all the energy of the people that were there, all the smiles and happy faces throughout the video! This is what motion and support truly looks like, so happy for you Kai!🙏
I'm so fucking glad he went. And he's showing these kids that follow him that it ain't all bad in your life. Y'all lucky to even be in a 1st world country and y'all complain. We all do. Gotta gain perspective in life. It helps a lot. I've been fortunate to have grown up in various countries. Going back to where I was born (left at 3 months old), Colombia, I was shocked. The first time I actually remember I was 11. In a small town deep in the valleys. Dagua. The level of poverty there with many, was astounding and yet they made it work. And this is where my grandparents grew up. So generations. And Dagua was not bad compared to other parts. When I went to Ladrilleros, these islands off the coast where all the slaves were brought in obviously many years ago. Mostly all black Colombians since then. They all settled there eventually. It's insane and what amazing, generous, loving people. But wow how poor it was. Literally this that y'all are seeing. EXACTLY the same. People living in broken down houses, even houses that caught fire, no roofs, whatever they could. Babies on the street shitting themselves. No diapers obviously. Just kids wandering while their parents worked and the teens already working of course.
I live in Nigeria but honestly I have never seen anything like this. Made me realize that some of us are fortunate to be where we at! Thanks. Much love

I’m from Lagos Nigeria and I’m here in the Us I’ve been here since 2010 I wish I could do this for my country soon. I really appreciate you helping the kids and the school Kai ur a blessing to the world ❤
I hope my Black American brothers and sisters watch this video and see the love this young brother received all the way from airport. We Nigerian have no beef with our American brothers and sisters. I hope this serves as proof of our love to you all.
Exactly and I’m not even from Nigeria. Black Americans have created a very negative narrative of how Africans hate them. Not a single AA has come to my country (Namibia) and was treated differently. We embrace them.
As Nigerians, we see them as one of us, but they’ve been taught to h@te Africans from their kindergarten days, feeding them with wrong information in school about Africans and Africa. Most of them even think Africa is a country and not a continent, if not the second largest continent in the world after Asia. AA give africans the worst treatment there in the states. It’s a pity.
This is so HILLARIOUS and I'm so happy for him at the same time, for Kai to see how much love people have for him all over the world is so humbling and he went to also give back, stand up young man
I’m a Nigerian but I just moved to the US about 5 months and ngl like I only got to know about you about a month ago cos I saw you played in the NBA celebrity All Star game and since then I have been a fan and I love your energy a lot, seeing you come to Nigeria really makes me happy man, and I watched the video all through with a smile on face. Much love bro !!!❤🎉🇳🇬🇺🇸
16:00 This brought me to tears, brings back a lot of memories from Nigeria. And the way Kai reacts, like he's baffled at how a singular class with almost nothing can be so joyful and welcoming. Truly heartwarming. ❤
