U can't fold 99 unless it's a super early stage in tourney like 100-200. AA are the absolute top of his range and he's mostly holding A10. GOD BLESS QUADS basically

Well, the 99 fold is probably not how I'd play it but I think it's justifiable. Otherwise, great run, you cashed in a fairly high dollar tournament, so that is a great result

Excellent fold with the 99 hand. Don't let the other commenters get in your head. That is the definition of a bet/fold spot on the River. The guy with AA over played his hand on the River (assuming he even had AA). There are far more combos of 5x than AA, given the pre flop action. And 5x hands would take this post flop line, more so than AA. The only problem I see is that your 5x range is limited to A5, so you won't have many combos of the nuts. Which is problematic when you get raised. As you experienced.

Loved your play on all but: 99...dude, I am known to make some theoretically (tho many ended up correct) bad (tight/nitty) folds but this one? If he has 5x or 10-10, well then bless his little heart, he got me! It is amazing how many players will slowplay aces and sometimes kings in a horrible way, and that hand makes a lot of sense in post flop play here. The AQ I get it, you have seen Lucky Donkey make some ridiculous shoves and calls, but...even the world's biggest donkey is dealt premiums at the same rate as the rest of us! That close yet far away from the bubble, it would have to be aces for me to commit 97% of my stack. I get the iso raise and all but, just me, I would wait for a spot like this post bubble. Loved the bluff catch at the end with King/shit and he flips 10-5 with an ace and a king on the board....I am hoping it was an insta call too cuz that really annoys bluffers!

I don't think the AQ iso-jam is a blunder. It's possible he was trapping hoping you would jam, but if he truly is a fish, he made the mistake by not putting in the raise to isolate himself.

coming from a winning 5/10 live reg the 99 is a great fold few could make. if population underbluffs, you overfold. Sure, 20% of time you are wrong, but the money is made in the 80%.
