Finally, we are getting a little more serious with the E36! I think it's time to turn it up a little for the next one ;) Support the channel (Merch): hoongarageco.com cosmotires.com
I’ve been watching you for so many years now, you’ve gone so far, I remember when you never even had it in your mind to do a drift competition in that car 🤣 I watched all your food, deliveries and everything😂
Nico I’ve been watching you for quite a while and you are genuinely the RU-vidr that I get most excited for when you upload. I checked your channel today not realizing you had uploaded because I hadn’t gotten a notification in awhile😂 Please don’t be too hard on yourself for not having made as much content! I absolutely love your videos and I think the best thing you could do is have a more vlog style of videos just documenting what you’re doing on any given project if you’re working on something and of course the driving whenever you can share it!
Can we get more videos please 🥺 Drifting, wrenching, etc. No need for daily or even weekly uploads just an upload every month or two is all we askin for.
Yoo I think you should keep the same format you have been doing over the years but just add little sneak pics here and there. I think is cool to have a vid dedicated to each car rather than having one for all
bro that was amazing drive i love it . I have a question for you ive 318ti with m44 engine, what engine do u use on e36 . İm thinking swap engine or turbo it what do you think
Put studs instead of bolts on the rear wheels. Your bolts were torn off, my wheel was also torn off because of this. I put studs and made sure to weld them on the back side. The hub is very thin and there are few threads, I think because of this
Shouldn't you keep the car ON while using the fan? I suppose coolant will not flow if car is off🤔 else it'a cooling the coolant in the radiator only🤔🤔🤔
love the channel bro. Here for any content you make! You were a big motivator for me to get on showtime with my new drift car. I suck currently but maybe one day we'll run tandems or something!
Hey bro random question. I’m swapping a 2JZ-GTE into my IS300 real soon and was wondering if you got any advice for me ? Like, if you were gonna do it all over again, what would you do different ? What should I watch out for so I don’t blow it up within a year ?
@@HoonGarage An exhaust valve blew yours up, wtf? Thanks for the heads up. You’re 100% right about using my stock GE, honestly I didn’t even wanna turbo it. Blew my stock W55 trans and was looking for a replacement… found a GTE with a CD009 and adapter kit for 6k Canadian $. Couldn’t pass that up lol. Guess I’m going all in now 🤷🏻♂️
Hello Nico, I've been fighting a misfire in my e36 for almost a year now and at a loss. I've narrowed it down to the fact the car seems to only register the first fuel bank in the ecu as it was previously turboed, I've tried multiple different tuned ecu's, and everything down to the plugs, multiple crank sensors and all that has been had multiple thrown at it. The whole engine harness was swapped as it didnt have front o2's. The timing was off a tooth and just finished getting done.. and it didnt change the problem, let alone change how the car ran at all. Most of that is all back to stock and it still wont show a second bank which causes an odd misfire under max load after a certain duration, if car is turned off the car will reset and the car could drive without issue until it goes under max load again and after a certain duration but the duration seems to get shorter as the car repeats this and gets hot I think i dont know (but for example trying to push the car through an event it seems to come back quicker).
@@HoonGarage Yea the compression test came back pretty odd the numbers were all over the place but the car doesnt show signs of that. Thanks for your response.
@@HoonGarage Do you have any idea why the car would only be showing me 1 fuel bank when im trying to read the fuel trims on multiple different tuned ecu's?
