My First Emergency Situation in the Navy

I know this is an older video but I'm trying to undertake the long task of catching up by watching your videos. That being said, you were saying that once the main rotor was disengaged and all personnel evacuated from the area you would take the fire up to the very very front of the aircraft or very very rear of the aircraft to begin putting out the fire. I'm not sure of what tires are used on aircraft but generally, my thinking would be that you would be safer attacking the fire from the side of the aircraft and not attacking the fire from the front or rear because if there were to be a tire explosion, again depending on the make-up of the tire, there'd be steel belts or wires being flung forward and backward and standing from the side you would just get hit by chunks of rubber and not a steel belt or bundle of cables. Again, I have no clue on what tires are used on aircraft landing gear, I'm just saying in a very generally way of thinking that would be my though process.

Aye man try and get an AV contract, you would be an AE ATO or ATI. I'm an ATI and I got 40 college credits from A school, these are the electronics job for aviation.

If you want a really good career outside the navy as well as in, and you could see yourself doing crypto, Go CTN which is hacker. Or CTI if you know how to speak another language. They are some of the best jobs when you get out and they have really good advancement when you're in. I should have gone CTN but I'm an ET now. No complaints though, I have the best rate in the Navy.

PROS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - When and if they leave their school, they will get BAH. Basic Allowance for Housing. Navy pays for them to live off base, only once they are done with their schooling. - The navy will try their best to move them close to each other. Sometime's on the same base so they could possibly live together while in the navy, they would just be on different ships/commands. This would allow more opportunity for them to see each other often. CONS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - I see married couples break up all the time. I literally mean all the time. - They might not be stationed near other. The Navy will do their best, but it's the military. They put you where they need you - If they are not stationed near each other, it will be very, very difficult when they get to their ships to see each other. The chance of them both being able to take leave during the same time period is slim, but it can happen - If they break up, then the might be on a base or area of the country they'd rather not be. I know couples who get married, and get moved to a certain area for their significant other. They only chose that state/area because of them, and if they break up, now they're kind of screwed. SUMMARY --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - It's possible they can get married, and live a happy life. It does happen, but not often. Usually the couples I see last in the navy, are those who are in the service that get married to civilians. They will be able to see them more often and their partner won't have to deal with being the navy (Shit Happens). You might just have to let him learn a mistake but all in all, they might make it. It's just going to take a lot of work are both parts. And the most important part, trust. They both need to be loyal and trust one another. I see too many people cheat, men and women equally. If they both want to get married, they just need to be sure they are willing to wait for the other, and know they won't see one another very often for years to come. Hope this helps!

Well if that's the case. He will still get BAH. So they will pay to move her out to where he is stationed. Depending how much longer he is in school, they may just wait until he is done with school and at his Ultimate Duty Station. Pro's are if she does move where he is located, they will be able to see each other almost every day unless if he is out at sea or deployments. Cons are if he's on a deployment, she will be all alone in an area she doesn't have friends or know too well. It's all about sacrifices and if it's worth it to them. Like I said, trust is still a big thing. It's hard being away and I see civilians cheat on their military spouse and vice versa. Let you're son make the decision though. He's old enough to be in the military which means he's an adult. If it works out, then good for them. If not, it'll be a learning experience. Just make sure you sit them both down and that they know what's happening and that they are both willing to sacrifice. He won't be home for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries. It's hard but rewarding. You gotta make the best with the hand that is dealt to you.
