Filipinos have a variety of different looks that can be divided into different categories. There's the Moreno types who have relatively darker skin and sometimes can pass for South Asian. There's the Chinito types who look stereotypically East Asian. There's the "Indio" type which is the typical "Filipino look", basically a cross between the previous 2 types. Then you have Mesitzos who have lighter skin and more Caucasian features. And finally you have another type called "Tornatrás" which is a combination of Chinitos, Indios, and Mestizos.

Omg! As a filo stay who has watched your skz reactions ever since, i'm so glad that you reacted to sb19, one of the current best artist from my home country. Thank you so much, Mel!❤ i'm drawn to them since like skz, they also produce their own songs and have different genres. I think you'd fall for them, esp with their great vocals. Unique. Definitely. You'll get your mind blown with all their songs cause they're all different. And they could actually sing and dance. You need to hear their ballads. Or actually i found out about them from their latest album. Only 5 songs i think, but man best album i heard this year! You'll know why if you listen. Except you'll need to listen to some with subs... the melodies are awesome by itself without understanding, but when you do understand you'll realize it's at another level.

The good thing about #PPOP #OPM in general is they are multi genre, multilingual, monster live vocals and have a very huge and ACTIVE fanbase - I suggest you start with SB19 Gento

Ken’s singing voice is to die for! Check out their song entitled “ilaw” live on rappler. These guys are eating CD’s. They sound better during lives… the vocals and versatility.. nothing compares. unlike other groups, SB19 rapper line can sing too.OMG

A fun trivia about the meaning of the song! Mana means something that's passed down (like an heirloom, gift, talent, etc.). It's also short for manananggal which is a mythical creature in the Philippines that is able to separate its upper torso from the lower body who preys on sleeping (pregnant) women. So they're saying 1) "don't sleep on us because we have the gift and the talent" and 2) No matter how high they soar (like the upper body of the manananggal when its body separates to hunt its prey) they will remain grounded (because the lower half remains on the ground). 😊

I once commented somewhere that Felix's voice seems like coming from underground, but Ken/Felip's voice feel like the underground itself. Listening to it with a headphone, you'd feel like you're surrounded by him.

The guy with red hair is called Ken but when he goes solo he uses his real name Felip. You are very correct that Ken has a deeper voice than Felix of StrayKids. A group of KPop fans said something like he is a copycat of Felix. How? Ken has a much deeper voice. Aside from that their are so many men who have deeper voices in the world.
