Was searching for my spouse. I know zero about male cologne and went hyper fixated for hours with vintage cologne and then perfume! We survive with our pensions now so it was nice to find mini/lots at a cost i can afford... What really got my attention was 'faberge' ... So as in the Faberge EGG? Also wondered if vintages turn rancid. I googled and your video appeared. I subbed so I can buy him something really very nice. Even if it is only a sample/mini! I'd rather gift him with one or two dabs of originals over never ever affordable moderns, if I make sense lol

Nice man, good review bro. I have the full brut line up splash on, aftershave and the same edt with the yellow juice. I also have a 195ml of vintage faberge brut from the 70s which I treasure lol. I love the modern stuff though as they are like fresher samples of the vintage just not as concentrated. Not sure about you but I find i get a strong black liquorice vibe from the vintage almost like black sambuca. Anyway good review and nice to hear another opinion on brut. Any version of brut is good imo:)

Brut is just such a pleasant smell. I consider it a lifelonger. It scratches an itch I get regularly. The modern stuff still smells good. One thing about it that makes me only wear the vintage is that the modern is much more synthetic smelling. Still smells good, but I much prefer putting on the vintage juice. For me, I get Ylang Ylang the most. Its a pretty unique signature smell. The way that it seems to coagulate is pretty awesome. thanks for your comment!

I see what your saying for sure, if you havnt already check out sartorial by penhaligons it's like a niche take on brut the opening is slightly different but the dry down is pretty much identical to faberge. It is pricey though about £120 another one is by Geo F Trumper it's called paisley cologne it's a minty take on brut. That will rum you about £50ish all the best bro keep up the vids:)

Unfortunately you don’t really know what you’re getting with splash colognes when you buy them used. It might be 25% vintage topped off with some of the newer. For that reason, I don’t buy them. Good review though. Also, those bigger bottles are probably the 3 oz bottles.
