Grew up in the 60s going to Six Flags, back then I really enjoyed the adventure type rides and the Runaway Mine Train once I was tall enough, Skull island was great with the skull slide, the canoe ride, Spindle Top and the antique cars, was awesome along with the log ride, LaSalles Riverboat and Spelunker’s cave, The puppet show was nice because of the air conditioning etc , all that thru the 70s, I went a few years ago and lots of coaster type rides, my grandkids loved it! Really enjoy your videos thanks
You and I share that in common, I love a good adventure type ride but those are awesome memories of those rides former and current! Glad your grandkids enjoy the park these days too! Thank you for watching and enjoying the videos!
In the summer of 2001 I worked at a restaurant across the street from the park. Six flags maintenance guys would often come here after work. They told me during really hot days (above 103) they would frequently have to temp shut Titan down. The crazy heat combined with the Gforces on the ride would cause people to pass out.
I rode mr freeze when it was new. It was my 2nd coaster (original texas giant was my 1st). I went by myself and i pretty young. I was in the back and it terrified me. The straight up made me think the cars were just going to tumble off. I loved the ride, i just couldnt look at that incline.
I'm in my late 40's and grew up in Arlington. Spent many summers at this park. I still remember being 12 yrs old and finally having the courage to ride Shockwave. lol
Great vid as usual brother and I was watching when u said, i don’t mind the wait because u waited 13 hours and 11 mins for Hagrids then quickly said” I do refuse to wait 13 hours and 11 mins again, just saying.” 21:13-21:23 It took me a minute to trying to say it in the same speed, one breath and the hand wave all at once. “My goodness”
Do you think it’s worth getting a fast pass? Headed there alone tomorrow but looks like you actually had a bit of waiting…? But I heard the following: ingle rider lines have been added at Six Flags Over Texas (New Texas Giant, Batman: The Ride and Runaway Mountain), Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey (Jersey Devil, El Toro, Nitro and Medusa), Six Flags New England in Massachusetts (Batman: The Dark Knight, Harley Quinn Spinsanity and Supergirl Sky Flyer) and Six Flags America in Maryland (Superman: Ride of Steel, The Joker’s Jinx and Voodoo Drop), according to Screamscape. Thoughts? Nice vlog btw
I truly apologize for the delayed response! Hope you enjoyed your visit there. I has a little bit of waiting only because some rides went down but other than that it was very smooth. Glad you enjoyed the vlog!
Thanks I appreciate it! Sorry for the dizziness. I was using a brand new camera that I didn't have figured out before my trip but fortunately now...I have it figured out! Sorry about that but glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!
After riding 3 different Antique Cars rides at 3 different parks, it doesn't matter that Chapperal Antique Cars has a line. IT IS WORTH IT!!!! Superman is a Combo Tower, not just a Drop Tower. It is also a Shot Tower, hence the "Combo". They are running the red train?!?! OMG!!! I can't believe it! Bro...you missed Justice League and you went right by it! This one is not to be underestimated. If you do, you will be apologizing to yourself. Unfortunately, Runaway Mine Train is currently under major renovations and upgrades. Hopefully it will be better afterwards. Wait...They already got done with construction on the Batman games?!?! WHAAAAT?!?! Seeing as that the line for New Texas Giant was all the way back to the tv screen, that is considered a fairly long wait. That is Runaway Mountain, NOT Runaway Mine Train! Those are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT RIDES in this park!
