What I notice is how much cleaner everything is and how respectful everyone is. They really know how to be respectful. The guests are very respectful. Where else could you leave your blanket on the ground for the parade and walk away to go shopping for a moment. You did that in the US your blanket and stuff would be gone in the blink of an eye
Wow...when all the characters walked by and then they started to get on the teacups...that floored me! Ugh, I hate international travel but this makes me want to go to Tokyo Disneyland soooo bad! Great coverage of your trip so far! I'm behind but catching up. LOVED the merch video! Their art renditions are superior to ours, hands down!
OMG! I am so excited for you and Michael that you were able to live out your dream of going to Tokyo Disneyland! I would love to go there for just the parade alone! All the floats were mind-blowing. And the characters riding the Tea Cups was Chefs Kiss. I had tears in my eyes watching that.

Dude! We have watched many other Tokyo Disney videos, but, this has been the best! You guys just have so much Disney passion sharing with us! Thank you for sharing! That being said, go back to your part riding the mine train, two rows ahead of you, on the right, a child is trying his best to keep his arms up during the ride! Notice the girl beside him does not! That little guy is my hero!
I love that Disney licensed everything to The Oriental Land Company, the owners of Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea, so that the owners could have more of a say in how the park looked and operated. Would LOVE to go there some day! Guaranteed that TDL will NOT be changing Splash Mountain over to the new Tiana's theme, because they aren't "woke" over there and don't look at Splash Mountain as "racist".
Wow! Tokyo Disneyland is amazing! The imagination of their engineers are reflected in the beautiful architecture and entertaining queue lines. So happy to see you & Michael enjoying yourselves. Have a great time on your 2nd day adventure in the park 🤗
It is so fantastic seeing someone experiencing the BEST THEME PARK RIDES in the world 🌎 With Hunny hunt and Beaty and the best this park has one of the best top 5 in the world! And even better: a bunch of great supporting attractions! The only thing lacking is the layout and design specifically of the 1983 lands…
OMG Pooh and Tigger were my favorite growing up in the 70s and 80s. I need to ride this attraction! Take me with you next time! Swear I'm house trained!
You should check out Disney Sea also. It's such a cool, pretty, and different type of park. My wife and I went last summer and fell in love. Japan is such a beautiful country.

I think this was one of my favorite Tokyo Disney vlogs I’ve seen!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen what their Small World looks like and oh my goodness 😍😍 And yes I loved seeing the characters ride the teacups together 🥹🥹 I’m so bummed that beauty and the beast was closed while y’all were there 😩😩 but happy y’all were optimistic about it bc y’all will return someday!! My husband and I will be going there someday… we just don’t know when yet. We’re doing an England trip this November which will be his first time overseas!!

The walkways in TDL (& also the MK in FL) are almost too wide & aren't broken up enough by landscaping. That takes away some of the charm of a park. TL at TDL still has an entrance with the 2 tall fountains (which remind me of flamingo necks) that were torn down in Orlando. FTL at TDL has more of the look of the old 1950s-60s-era FTL at DL. That's a modest-1950s format than the Medieval-village theme that replaced DL's old FTL in the 1980s. If the interiors of attractions at TDL are spiffier than the ones in the US, it's because the Oriental Land Co is supposedly way pickier about maintenance. The Pooh & Monsters Inc rides in TDL are definitely better than the ones in DL & DCA. The ride in Anaheim was shoehorned in on a budget & the replacement for Superstar Limo was done more out of resignation than inspiration. Because of Tokyo's weather, the park's Main St has a mall-type roof & just imprinted versions of a sidewalk next to the street, which takes away some of that area's charm.

Disneyland tokyo is amazing! i love how everyone is so nice and the rides look amazing that pooh ride was super cute and cool also loved seeing the charthers on mad tea party, cant wait for day two i'm hoping you go to Zootopia land? or see frozen cuz i know the Aimtronics are amazing there
So how was Space Mountain? As you guys got distracted by the Army Man and didn't give your thoughts after you got off? And I'm pretty sure Tokyo Disney has already said they have no plans to change Splash Mountain. As they operate separately from the US parks, and the reasons for our changes really don't have anything to do with Japan. Trip looks amazing so far, looking forward to more footage from Tokyo Disneyland. And as someone who grew up going to Disneyland in the 70's & 80's as I lived in LA, Tokyo Disney for sure gives off vintage vibes of the OG park.
Great video series Dylan! Just wanted to let you know that the Golden Bear Theatre at Magic Mountain was demolished on January 15th. Be sure to get a ride on Space Mountain before it is demolished in the summer. Tokyo's Space is exactly like the Anaheim version before the 2003 overhaul. Hello from Phoenix Arizona🌡🔥
Thanks for the heads up about Magic Mountain. Thankfully we were able to do space mountain on this trip so I’m glad we got it before they take it down.
I also miss the original Space Mountain "open" queue watching the rockets whiz by. I don't know why the American parks can't offer the huge popcorn selection from Japan. Seems like a hit to me.
Wow, that first attraction, Winnie the Pooh, blows Disneyland out of the water. It’s so immersive and the special effects….outstanding! Small World queue is pretty. Big Thunder seemed longer…so much fun. I like how everyone is so friendly. Monsters Inc was really cool as well. Thank you Dylan and Michael, for a great time!
Hmmm something is off about Tokyo’s fantasyland. There seems to be a LOT of coloured concrete empty space but not enough trees or planters to give it the fairytale feels, and the buildings feel like they’re from the 80s. I don’t know… rest looks ok but Fantasyland looks like it needs a refurb. Also not a fan of World Bazaar (their undercover Main Street) though I do understand the reason for it. All in all… you can’t beat Walt’s original DLR!
Please keep in mind the space mountain you were on is gone forever.. it was recently torn down to be completely rebuilt.. with a totally new design and building
It's not closed yet. It's still going on the 31st of July this year. There's going to be an event starting April to celebrate the last season of operation.
