On a recent trip to Czech Republic, I was lucky enough to get to fly the brand new Cirrus SR22T G7.
This was one of the first production G7s that went to Europe and gave a great chance to test out all of the new features.

What a super nice machine! I like the auto fuel feature. One question on that…. when the fuel door is closed to turn on the auto switch mode, does the avionics tell you when it switches tanks for pilot awareness?

Good Q... When the door is closed, the fuel tanks are switched automatically every 5 gals consumed. You don’t get a CAS msg but you do have a visual indication on the screen that shows you which tank is currently being used. In addition, the fuel gauges on the MFW also shows the exact fuel under the bars (ie. 24.6 under the left bar and 26.2 under the right bar)

Mine color is called Athens Blue … even compared to the newer colors available, I still like this one the best 😃

Thanks for watching… Cirrus has never been the cheapest option … but each generation they continue to make huge improvements:-)

G7 is same airframe and engine as G6 … economy cruise ~ 15 gph ; performance cruise ~17 gph

$300+k to fly in discomfort and marginal safety. After 50+ years of pro flying, looking back I wonder now how many first class tickets I missed.

Not sure I understand your point… If u feel flying commercial is preferable to general aviation, that is your choice… I personally prefer flying via Cirrus … BTW, this plane is ~ $1.35M fully equipped :-)
