Flekken Sanchez Murillo,Dunk, Hall/Burn, Robinson, TAA Palmer, Bailey, Gibbs-White, Gordon, 6.5-7 mid Isak, Håland,Fraser Think the midfield will change the most before deadline. can also go Watkins and Salah for Bailey and Håland with this Draft and changes in midfield is likely then
Ohh I like that Draft. My Current Setup is. GK: Flekken -Turner- DEF: Mykolenko, Burn, Aina -Anderson,Konsa- MID: Foden, Salah, Eze, Palmer, Gordon ST: Watkins, Isak, -any 4.5 striker-
Ditched the Inzaghi! Good to see you back Ryan. Nice team. Front eight almost same as my draft, but I'm super cheap at the back and got Odegaard/Watkins instead of Hudson-Odoi/Havertz. Just don't see the value in defenders this season with BPS changes, so can't see any chance of spending money at the back. Especially Gvardiol who's great when plays, but you're always sweating over City teamsheet and will inevitably be rotated.
Nice contrast. Very interesting to see what you can spend up front when you go cheaper in defence. Who are your defenders in place of Trent and Gvardiol? I think there’s merit still. Just need to be more aware of which defenders you target (I.e. attacking defenders over CBs who rely on cleans and bps)
Defenders so far - Anderson, Mykolenko, Robinson, Konsa and (the compulsory) Harwood-Bellis. Shortlist of Murillo, Pinnock, Dunk, van der Ven, Cash, Ait-Nouri (from gw9)… so many options at 4.5m it’s just looking for best fixture blocks/rotation. All pretty nailed. Decent teams. Offer some kind of threat. The 1.5m jump to a Gvardiol or Ars def just seems better spent in midfield. Clean sheets so hard to come by and BPS now means defenders even more reliant on them. Even if they get them in a big win for their team, the additional BPS for shots on target/fouled etc means they might need an attacking return on top of CS to get chance of bonus ahead of mids/fwds. I don’t know, I just can’t bring myself to pass up some of the options the extra budget gives elsewhere this season. But we’ll see. Munoz is v tempting at 5m…
Hi I was wondering if you could rate my draft please? I have planned all 38 gameweeks (ik overkill but I had free time). I won't bore you with it all but my plan is to save transfers by having a strong bench soo that I can do 'mini wildcards' to react to fixture swings. My draft Gk - Sanchez Def - Trent, Gvardiol, Konsa Mid - Salah, Foden, Eze, Gibbs White Fwd - Watkins, Isak, Pedro Bench - Fabianski, Anderson, Barco, Nkunku 0.5m in the bank
Great one Ryan! At the moment, I’m on Haaland+Salah draft: Sanchez (maybe Sels),Fabianski,Saliba,Gvardiol,Burn,Konsa,Barco,Salah,Eze,Gordon,Hudson-Odoi,Winks,Haaland,Isak,Wood There are rumours that it looks as though Joao Pedro has not travelled with the Brighton squad to Japan for their tour. I have seen someone in one of the comments suggest he has broken his rib - but either way I am sure we will find out soon
Solid team! Probably the best Salah/Haaland draft I’ve seen. Could even drop Gvardiol for a cheaper defender and improve Winks or change Wood for someone else (Muniz, Armstrong) Wood is good, just depends if Awonyi is fit or not I have seen the news on Pedro. Doesn’t look great!
I love the new channel name!! 👍 It’s a solid squad you got there! I have a different strategy then most managers this season BB GW1 Wildcard GW2 and move away money from bench and keep stocking these free transfers until I hit 5… I have very solid squad for GW BB Alison, Onana TTA, Virgil, White, Schar, Porro Rashford, Gordon, Fernandes, Eze, Maddison Richardson, Isak, DCL Your thoughts on my strategy and team?
I will add Haaland on my Wildcard in GW2 so captaincy in GW2 is solved.. my thought process is it’s going to be easier to fit in Haaland when I don’t need money on my bench.. Isak is GW1 captain!
Thanks mate! I rate the early WC strategy. I’m contemplating something similar with a WC in GW 4 or 5 (after having banked some FTs). I never feel comfortable BBing in GW 1 as you don’t know for sure who will start, I like using it in a DGW, and I’m always scared I’ll waste it. But with less DGWs this season, it’s arguably a more valid strategy than ever. If you WC GW 2 and roll lots of FTs, you could be well ahead of the pack by GW 6 or 7.
@@darraghp5940 ah ok, I’d still include Everton and Palace in that as you’d get one each week. The other team to add would be Brentford or Forest. Forest have good fixtures in 1,3,5 but not 7. Brentford have good in 1,3,7
Someone else suggested that which tells me it’s a decent idea! I like it in the short term but Chelsea’s fixtures so good between 2-7 that I’d want a piece of their attack for that. Maybe Nkunku? But it looks like he might share mins with Jackson
My current debate is whether i go salah + haaland or just haaland and bring in whichever liverpool 7.5 is most nailed in pre season. Current draft is Sanchez turner Saliba mykolenko munoz konsa harwood-bellis Salah johnson eze gordon rodgers Isak haaland pedro
I think only pre-season can tell you which Liverpool attacker is most nailed. I doubt whoever starts will play same minutes as Salah but you’re paying significantly less. What’s your Haaland (no Salah) draft?
Early fixtures aren’t great (besides Ipswich). They are the best team but very expensive! It’s not that I think they’ll do badly, it’s more that I think this team scores more than a team where I force them in
I’ve got a question, is Ward the starting GK for Leicester City? because i bought him for 4m and id like to know if I should start ward instead of verbruggen
