What kind of camera do you use? I have a Canon 60D at work and sometimes it needs to buffer. So it stops itsself because its too much footage data. Maybe you need to figure out how long your camera can film and stop it several times. So it doesn't cut you out when you don't notice it. And you can film all of your footage. I also study in Editor/Camera so I don't say anything weird :) hope this helps you and you can figure it out :)
