Nice video! About staring: 1. People look at what interests them. 2. In Germany/Austria people are more direct. 3. The staring is almost always not meant in a bad way. You can ignore it..... You only notice the staring when you're also looking at the other person! 😉 4. If someone stands out because they are fat, thin, one-legged, pretty, extraordinary.... then some people stare, so what. Hint: In Western countries, individualism and independence are valued more highly. So don't be dependent on the judgment of others in public... Good luck to you! I agree,it's very uncomfortable and can mess with your mind if you focus on it, I mean people may not even be racist-ing you but the fact that you've noticed that you're almost the only black person it's abit aaaah(my opinion idk If any other person feels the same way)
I 100% agree with you and it can be a little difficult not to pay attention to that you are the only one of Color. I then tell myself „ this is exactly how one of them would feel when they visit my country „😂😂😂😂😂
I was just having this conversation with my kid, the Robot is a Traffic stop or Traffic light. As for staring, I don't notice it so much except like if I'm at the sauna or a place where I guess our people aren't usually seen but as for most public spaces, I don't notice it or I don't pay much attention to it. I feel like in Vienna I saw more of us than I see Salzburg but also I think that's normal. We are in Europe after all 😝🤷🏿♀️

@@AzubiLife7282 Yes, yesterday we had a short meeting with one of his friends and he mentioned that we have to cross the street at the Robot and the friend seemed to understand it. So this morning I asked if he ever has to say robot and explain to his friends what he means and he said all the time he just forgets that robot doesn't exist here
@@AzubiLife7282 I mean I live in Salzburg and commute daily to work so I'm out there everyday, except Sunday coz your girl needs her me time. Vienna I've only visited twice and both times I felt like I saw more black people in a day than I usually see here at home but also I guess I goes with how much we take notice maybe me living here I notice less, it could be that.
