Thank you! Both airports are easy to navigate. We had a stopover at Istanbul Airport, and that was easy, as was Heathrow, our final stop. If you have any stops, I don’t think you need to worry much, and the airport staff will be there to direct you to where to wait for your connecting flight. Hope this helps 💜

I think we were over 4kg and yes they are very strict (in naija sha) with weighing luggages oo! They weighed every luggage we carried, thankfully a friend that was travelling with us and was traveling light, carried most of our items. So please try and stick to the assigned luggage weight from your airline to avoid having to send things back. Hope this helps 💜

No I didn’t… You don’t need a transit visa if you’re traveling from Nigeria to UK and having few hours of stop over in Istanbul with Turkish Airlines. Please make sure to do your research on the routes and airlines that might need transit visa if you are taking a connecting flight before booking flights. I hope this helps 🙏🏾

Not with Turkish Airlines.. but I think some other airlines require transit visas

Omo we considered everything and we actually left home early but Naija traffic happened!! Those check in people showed us shege for coming late sha but thank God the plane sef wasn't ready for boarding until 10pm! So we meuvvvee ✌🏾

@@jessicaomovie2367 don’t carry liquid, plates,pots (waste of space) you will get them here and sharp objects.. what you need mostly is food, especially Garri (its a bit scarce and expensive in African stores), For items like egusi, stock fish, okra/ogbono make sure to dry them, pack them well and few thick clothes for the weather. In general we had no hitches, just the small issue with overweight baggage in Nigeria but it was sorted! Trip was smooth.. Feel free to DM me on IG if you have other concerns! I hope this helps ❤️
