@@CookingwithYarda You're comparing two low paid jobs...Working in a fast food restaurant is guaranteed pay, & should come with certain employee rights. Delivery riders are self employed which does mean shifts are flexible, but also means the work isn't always guaranteed.

tbf most deliveries from what I could gather are mainly dependent on tips so it's really just thanks to customer generosity if you get tipped well enough then it's considered a good day of work.

Stumbled on your channel, I gotta say, you seem pretty handy with those apps and you clearly know your way around your city. You would have made a pretty good "mushers" i believe the word is for cab drivers there either way, I never thought I would enjoy videos about an Ebike delivery job before haha. EDIT:: I have to ask, as your earnings taxable? If so does the app automatically deduct your tax earnings or do you have to file them once a year?

Trust me, it takes literally 5 seconds for a career thief to hop on a unlocked bike that is left unattended by the owner. Once they're gone, they're gone! Anyways, locking bike, just becomes a routine and habit for delivery riders.
