My First Listen to WayV On my Youth Album!!

Its very rare that reactors can clearly convey their thoughts and feelings about a song, which part threw them off or is just pure perfection, but you defo did that! If piano intros and eargasmic vocal runs are your kryptonite, Horizon is the biggest chunk of kryptonite WayV has ever served. Chef's kiss🤌

The deep voice you mentioned during "Invincible" is the main vocalist, Xiaojun, u also asked about him in "No One But You," he's the deepest voice of the vocalists but sings all the highest notes ❤

You loving Lighthouse, makes me think you would absolutely love Horizon from their Kick back album. That song is also sung by the main vocalists Kun, Ten and Xiaojun.

The vocal runs especially from "Lighthouse" is also Xiaojun, you said "that takes A LOT of control" and "Be Alright" sustained vocal, it's all him 🫶

Moonlight is a sister to an earlier song Moonwalk (it has a MV), I love them both, they are very cinematic sounding. Overall this album is a great one, definitely one of the best of the year

- ofc the bg vocal in No One But You was Xiaojun, glad you loved the song too! - INVINCIBLE is one of my fave songs out of the album (I LOVE ANTHEM SONGS) and it's also quite special with the lyrics' meaning if you know the shit that Wayv went through for years :< - Kun (leader) is the other voice that you can pick apart the most alongside Ten - RODEO is my other fave, it's a rapline song. Tbh i'm not a fan of house edm in general but this song slapped me in the faceee - Moonlight is very reminiscent of their other song Moonwalk as they have that same epic sound (even the titles are quite similar), when i first heard it i was like "Moonwalk pt. 2???" - I loved loved loved Lighthouse! XIaojun sang it in a tiktok with his brother and brother's wife, it was so good their whole family are like vocal gods lol

So just to give some context: Be alright: Kun wrote some parts of it, he injured his ankle and couldn't attend Kcon with the other members so he was feeling a bit down. Invincible: Not my favorite either but it has a special place in my heart because of the lyrics Wayv as a group have been through a lot: Ten was stuck alone for almost a year in China because of COVID, Lucas scandal that broke just few days before his song with Hendry , he went on hiatus and then ended up leaving the group , and when the group finally prepared a comeback (Phantom) the release and all activities around it were again postponed because the ex president (if I remember correctly) of China died , even during this comeback some political figure in China died so some of the lives/releases were postponed, it's like they're cursed or something.... My top 3 songs from this album are: On my youth, lighthouse/no one but you and ain't no thang Can't wait for you to dive in their other albums and songs, they are soo good!!

WayV wanted to change things up for this album, if it's too positive, you'll love their previous albums Check out "Phantom" album, or their older MVs, they're truly an amazing group

15:04 that's KUN, wayv's leader! 18:14 i get ur point but i also understand the reason of this song, wayv have been through a lot as a group, so this song is kinda special to me because that's what this album is for us as fans and them as a group, no matter what, they made it back but i also agree with ur opinion tho, it feels like an opening for a shonen maybe? like one piece? lol rodeo is a unit song for wayv's rappers, so you can't hear ten, xiaojun and kun but their unit song is "lighthouse" and almost every song in the album has a stage for their showcase except for "moonlight" thank you for the reaction! loved it!!
