That was an impressive and astonishing play area. I really appreciate how you just took your time and just gave us the Rob walkthrough. It’s refreshing by comparison to how most of these recaps are made (including mine). You’ve given me something to think about when making these kinds of videos.

The amount of games in the vendor hall was astounding! I thought I saw you walking around while I was there. The variety was pretty good too. Every game that was on my list was there. A great time was had and there was something for everyone. My recommendation to anyone attending with kids is to bring them on Sunday instead of Saturday. The crowds were very large Saturday, but on Sunday it was about half the amount of people. Vendor hall was easier to navigate and very few lines for anything including food.

Man the hardware on display here is an absolute treasure trove! It's a borderline museum. Glad you had such a good time!

This convention looks interesting. I'm from New York and there is a similar convention called the long Island retro gaming expo that I usually attend every year. They have a museum setup like the one you showed in your video as well as vendors and retro gaming systems for everyone to play. Even original arcade machines are on free play there. RU-vidrs who are big in the gaming scene come by to speak at panels. I see John Riggs was in your video. I met him when he came to long Island retro and bought a dreamcast game that he created. I enjoy going to these conventions and I wish I had time to attend the ones in other states like the Midwest one

Its so easy to get overwhelmed at these conventions. I also was at MGC and feel like I missed out on a ton of stuff as usual. I really need to try and go to more than one day one of these years!

It was so cool to meet you dude. Speaking of the Keanu jokes I was watching the matrix last night lol. This was a great video I made one like this last year but I love how in depth it was. As cool as running the bonus stage is there's so much stuff that we miss because we don't really get to leave so watching this was fun. The cartridge evolution was cool to see and yea they should have picked a better jaguar game.

Was nice to get a peek at the hardware display, I forget to check it out half the time I'm there, saw a few things in there I'd like to own.

Man, great Video!!. I would have loved to have went. Last show I went to was the PlayStation Event in Vegas back in 2014. I would have had a blast w the retro pc's and consoles. I dig PatmanQC, John Hancock, and so many more. Did you drive up or flew? I had and have so many of the old consoles and PC's. I'd definitely would watch any more footage you had if you want to share some!

It would have been so cool to have gone and had the chance to meet you! Cracks me up how many conventions have tattoo stations set up now. lol Maybe one day I should finally get some skin art done. I love the gaming museum session; it's funny how everybody shows off the cartridge display though I'd love to have that hanging on the wall. Totally agree that the people and their joy and the interactions are the best part of ANY event. You know, we often hear the "live in the moment" line...we may need to address that in a future video. Hmmm...;-) The fact that you can play so many of the old consoles too is epic; I love that; not only getting to see the history of gaming but interact with it. I spy a Terranigma! Question--were there very many games here? I don't know if you showed much footage of that. lol It's insane how many vendors are on hand; trying to find that best deal can be so tricky. TC is a sweetheart; we met him the year we went to MGC and he was such a good guy. You met some good peeps, very nice.

This was my second year at the show and I hope I never miss it. I didn’t film at all though. I was too dang busy game hunting. You did a great job capturing footage.

What a weekend! I'm both still tired AND ready to plan for our next con. Vendor question - what do you think about vendor booths that really go above and beyond, with decor, experiences etc... Tacky and annoying, or awesome?
