Not to criticize others naman, but I have a high level of respect sa mga ganitong bata na matatas din managalog. Somehow it's so much easier for me to connect and relate to them. Also, I feel like mabait na bata itong si Marthena and very level-headed. Bonus na ang ganda niya pa.

Aiko's setting a good example to her children! Her children are not spoiled bratty. Strong sense of public service is imminent in Marthena. Amazingly, she's into immersing herself into Ateneo values. Quite mature for her age! Aiko's one blessed Mom!

I've been waiting for this interview for so long.. I really like this kid not because fan ako ng mama niya ever since the movie "last two minutes" but because I see so much potential of this pretty lady here. soooo pretty talaga at npaka down to earth. Children should not think that studying abroad is a status symbol or the only way to get a good education or become independent. it is not, and it is only extremely costly. I admire Richard and Lucy Gomez for having their daughter go to UP. It shows their faith in the Philippines, in its education system which is one of the best in the world. It also keeps the child grounded on their culture, have a Philippine context in addition to global context of their learning, and become aware during these critical years of the people they may serve in the future.
