yay, I'm so glad you checked PLG out! I have 3 of their totes and they are sooooo nice. 2 colors I have are discontinued ones (Black Cherry and Green Suede). I have a Honey which is a smooth leather and more structured than the pebbled leathers like the Nutmeg and it is a great color too. I have been holding off purchasing more bags but have been watching a black (smooth leather) tote for the Fall. I have seen reviews and the Black leather is very structured and nice. I do have a makeup bag that is in black and it's very thick and structured. Their bag quality is the nicest I have had. I have 2 envelope crossbodies and use them as a large wallet in my tote which is convenient to run in a store without carrying the tote.

Hi Dawn, I love your new bag, it's just your style. I checked out the Portland Leather website and I was so impressed with the selection of bags and the fantastic prices. So, I ordered the medium crossbody tote with a zipper in the grizzly color. I can't wait for it to arrive. I wanted a navy bag but the crossbody in that color was sold out. A gal after my own heart. A handbag lover! From watching your videos on handbags I have learned how to properly clean/wipe them down to preserve their beauty. I am currently carrying a bag from Dooney & Burke which is about 35 years old and looks like new. I took my back pack in to a cobbler about 6 months ago for a professional cleaning before I learned your cleaning tips. Now I know. I purchased this leather backpack in Florence Italy and adore it for travel. Still recuperating from the humerus break and should know more tomorrow when I see the orthopedic surgeon. I have been trying to follow his directions so I can get back to driving. Going crazy sitting at home. The handbag holds a lot more than I expected. 😎❤️💄Kathy

Another beautiful bag to add to your amazing collection! 😍 Love the idea of the smaller little zip up bags with some essentials to throw in your purse, It still amazes me how fast your hair grows!! I need to finish watching the friendship heartbreak video...as I got interrupted when I was watching it. I have a sad story with losing a friendship with one of my besties from 10th grade....after she just seemed to get really critical of so many things & people & just trying to really shake things down & said some things that would change our friendship forever. Never thought we wouldn't be friends after almost 45 years of friendship, but it's been 2 years since I have spoken to her (she cut things off) & I have pretty much grieved the loss of our friendship & just moved on with focusing & nurturing my other friendships & just wishing her well with her life. And every day just being grateful for the many wonderful , amazing friends that I do have.

That’s a great bag! I have to confess that I only this evening watched your video on friendships. I wasn’t sure I was ready to hear about your heart being broken. I thought it might be too sad. But I did watch it and really appreciate you sharing and getting to know you better. I guess because I’m older now, I look back on friendships of my youth with much nostalgia. I have found a couple of girlfriends from my past life. It’s so nice to have friends that want to re-connect and who knew you way back when. My heartbreak was finding my best high school friend on Facebook, and learning she had just passed away after a very short illness. So I missed the chance of seeing her again. That still hurts. We were teenagers together and had so much fun! Friendships have to be nurtured and we are lucky when we find them (or they find us!). ❤

I have the mini Madewell tote in saddle and black. I just love it. It is so handy. And yes PLG seems very similar. So I did order a bag from PLG. A flap backpack. I don’t usually carry a backpack but theirs is really nice. I love nutmeg. It’s my favorite. Enjoy your bag.😊

It’s always good to get your opinion of the company, handbags and misc. items. I want to purchase one asap 🤗. I also want to tell you that I really enjoyed your video chat about your friendships..I also have experienced the love and loss of girlfriends..some I know I made the right decision to let go of the friend and others still leave me with a feeling of regret. What a pretty bag, love the color. I need to get my Dooney bags down from my closet, heck I had forgotten about them, I think I have 4 of them, I know they are over 30 years old, my husband would buy them for me when I use to work. I have 3 more leather bags, unusual not your standard purse, a friend of mine who lived in Iowa had a store where she stored her furs (I don’t have any) and they made these beautiful purses with Swarovski crystals, I have 3 of them, those are all leather as well, that was back in the day where bling purses were popular, oh and they made belts with the crystals too, I think I have 3 as well. The purses and belts were very pricey, shame I don’t have anyone to leave them to, I don’t think my grandson would want them or his girlfriend 😂❤❤❤wish I could send you pictures.
