The sound this car makes is quite amazing. Also the fact that this guy only past his driving test 12 months ago and already has 190 laps of the track is bonkers.
Misha you really need to show these newcomers a blast from the past with a boosted Boris video. I always laughed my butt when you would show up wearing the fur hat.
I'm sorry but Craptalism has already taken Mr. Boosted Boris away from us. Now the only thing we have is this guy named Misha who says "shit" instead of cyka blyat. XD
To say the lad has had a licence for only 12 months, he was excellent! Best way to learn is in a vehicle where you have to preserve its momentum. I learnt that from driving a non-turbo'd van for many years
Slow af on the uphill part and out of corners but still almost 2min faster than my laps in a much faster car. Keeping momentum and knowing the track well, building assurance, etc. Well done chap!
Sim Dane track cracked me up. He is a very clever artist who comes up with a new track almost immediately after each F1 race. Lately he has really hit Lance Stroll hard - daddy's money. Robert Kubica used to be a target when he raced and also Grosjean.
The Yaris GR will be a really nice ring tool. What a ride down nostalgia lane to see the Sub 7 Up in it's glory. You should give the new owner the big turbo you bought for it. Nice ride but do a lap in the Yaris GR with the track pack, what a monster in the wet and dry! Out with the old and in with the new. If the Yaris GR wasn't so expensive for insurance I would have bought it. Israel is expensive for rally cars for insurance.
Gooood morning Misha.. GREAT way to wake up @5:45am from my iPhone notifying me of a new Misha Vlog! (phone plays AC/DC "Thunderstruck" guitar intro..👍🙂👍) hmm so the little Veedub was your 1st Nurburgring project car hey?..dats COOL! 😀 I watched the video link of you driving Shmee round th'Ring.. gee she gets up & BOOGIES on the track! Certainly shows you dont need an expensive Supercar to have LOTSA FUN driving!.. LOVE iT 💕 Reminds me of the FUN TiMES I had with my old project car. (a 1980 Ford Escort RS2000) Az always LOVE Ya Work bro💕 234g & counting. Godbless hava gday 🙂
There are a couple of seriously modified Dacia, from first gen Logan with Clio RS engine, to an ex STCC racecar that races in the local Hill Climb Championship.
This lap reminded me of the NSU TT in the RaceRoom Experiece SIM. Kind of similar speed - but always a lot of fun to drive and good for learning the track.
Ooohhh wat voel ik mij nu oud, het begin van de Sub7up meegemaakt, dat was langgeleden ;-) Kleine auto's zijn leuk, het is een kunst om ze op snelheid te houden :-)
If you can , make a video where you talk about your history how you get into racing how you find this job, where are you born ... Becouse there are new subscribers that dont know anything like me 😁
Cool first car! Didn't know you weren't allowed to wear a HANS device during TF, but makes sense actually. Can't see over your shoulders to see your blind spots
Friend of mine took his UP! on the ring, he removed the ABS fuse and did it without the ABS to remove the traction control, I never really spoke with him about how it felt to drive it like that, but how much worse is it? As I've tested a Citigo on track, and the traction control was killing me, just slightly quicker through some corners than hopping out and pushing the car through it in neutral, as I got overtaken in the corner by a Nissan Laurel...
Right as I was about to ask whether the traction control can be turned off now, since you had the issues you said it wasn't. Since you mentioned Brazilian cars allow for TC to be turned off I am curious whether the ESC and/or ABS modules can be reprogrammed to Brazilian version or even replaced with them. I don't know if it makes sense to do it since it'll probably be an expensive mod, but it's an interesting theoretical question.
Actually the Brazilian version has the same issue, the TC can't be disabled from factory, but there is one company over here that makes piggyback for this car and also has some kind of obd connector that disables only the traction control, keeping the ABS working, search for TC off tork one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d2LM8V5VjCA.html
Lol, I usually don't do that, but what the hell... FIRST! Edit: I remember there was guerilla exhaust mounted on UP. Was it any good? I see it's Miltek now.
@@mgcharoudin I (and many have asked) whether once you see his driving as that's his channel name: 1. that you would consider him the top driver on the ring with a full mechanical car ? 2. Whether he is just nuts to ne driving with no safety at all ? n 3. Hoping the ring keeps allowing such cars on the ring ?
And they prove to us normal people that fun at the track is not just about the car. it’s our attitude that determines our level of fun. And with the right mindset you can have more fun in a van going round the ring than in a gt2rs.
Want some mods for the Sub7UP! to go fast around the Kesselchen Climb? how about a Compound Turbo 246 WHP - 360 Nm ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3hnvpLnlTg8.html
@@mgcharoudin I think BTG would be an awesome achievement in itself, I was just wondering if it was technically possible. I'm sure suspension geometry would have to be changed quite a bit to handle the power..
misha you never made a video on the alpine 110, you got rained out last time you tried, i'm really interested but it looks too loose from all the videos i have seen, i would love to get your opinion, and can a good set of tiers and a professional alignement fix it ? thanks
Well, if someday the new sub7's owner think it needs more "powa" he should consider making a bi-turbo setup for its engine. I know it sounds crazy but a guy from Brazil did it and now he has the fastest and most powerful Up! TSI of the world lol (250whp). Check it out in this link:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3hnvpLnlTg8.html Cheers!
