If in Bangkok, the best places to go to play Songkran are Sanam Luang, Khao San Road, Silom Road, Ratchaprasong Road, Siam Square, Soi Nana, Soi Cowboy, Sukhumvit Road, Rama 9 Road, and the S2O event. After 5:00 p.m., when Silom area was almost impossible to walk until 9:00 p.m., there were a lot of people, but it was even more fun.

Songkran Festival is Thailand's New Year celebration. It is the most fun festival in the world. Thai food is very delicious and not expensive. Live music is very fun. Thai people are extremely friendly. It was a moment of paradise for LGBTQ people.
