In today's video I explore a place in Florida that I've been wanting to visit for a very long time called Devil's Den! Located near Williston, Florida which is about two hours away from Orlando. Devil's Den is formed by a karst window, in which the roof over a subterranean river has collapsed exposing the water to the open surface. The water in the underground river is a constant 72-74 degrees. In cold weather water vapor rising from the surface of the river forms a visible plume above the entrance to the cave, which suggested a chimney from Hell to early settlers. The opening to the surface was originally a small solution sinkhole. I show you everything you need to know about this hidden gem here in Florida and of course I have to go snorkeling!
