And it looks like to me that it’s summer so this style can protect our hair from the heat by covering it with fake hair. Black women wear wigs and quick weaves because they’re easy to style and they’re considered a protective style to protect our natural hair. So again there’s nothing wrong with that.

Listening to you and your transparency is so uplifting. And lifts me up to do better, I’m the opposite and will not put my hands in my own head unless necessary and here lately it has been because I don’t trust the salons. What I mean when I say this is that it’s as if I want to take my own products to use. Back in the day you could trust that the salon was using ‘Top Tier’ because the salon was a run by the owner. And they stood on their name and brand.
I grew up with good hair salons and now do my own hair. It took years to find places that actually wash and take care of your hair. Also happy 🎂. Mine is may 24.
She did eat down ngl but pls next time make sure she cover up your side tracks fully cause I could see the entire track. But otherwise you and your hair is GORGEOUS 🥰

I hope your hair isn't damaged from the quick weave with that glue. Your natural hair is beautiful and sew in are healthier than bonding glue and the stocking caps doesn't allow for the scalp to get air. Beautiful style !

I grew up with my dad as an MD and my mom being a dentist. We definitely had money. However, I have never been to a hair salon growing up. I’ve been a handful of times as an adult, a psychiatrist, and my husband is an engineer. My preference is to manage my hair and I’ve done a fabulous job and so have you. Is complete power when you can take care of yourself completely. The whole point of my comment is knowledge and skills are very powerful and useful and obviously you have them
