I am sorry but I had to laugh at you with the snow coming down you saying do you see it 😂. Can you tell I live in a snow belt area in up state NY we are having a huge snow storm as I am texting this to you. It is pretty when it’s falling but not fun when you have to shovel 3 feet of it etc::: . Bless your heart to be excited about it. O yes I love that home and that bed omg .I would get excited to see the homes in your area I love history about the huge homes with white pilers. ❤❤❤I’ll switch with you lol.

I'm from south Texas so we react the same way about snow, but since the last snow storm, we are not so excited for it anymore.... but it is so gorgeous!!!

I got so tickled about you and the snow! I live in Arkansas just 30 minutes from downtown Memphis and we have been getting snow all afternoon and we are supposed to get 2 to 4 inches before it ends, and we only get one or two a year normally. That was an awesome estate sale and I can see you going back. Hope your kids enjoy having fun in the snow Julie!

I live in New.Jersey and if you get one or two snowfalls a year then you get more then we do here anymore. We used to get a couple snowfalls a year but we haven't had a good bought of snow in 2-3 years 😢

Julie, we just got 14 1/2 inches of snow where I live in WI and now the Temps are -2° F for a high, with windchill factors are 26° below zero! I'm shocked they closed down the sale for a few snow flurries, but I understand you may not have equipment to help you deal with snow where you live. ❤ Love all the books you got and love your enthusiasm for the snow. Where I live we are so over it!

I’m in Iowa and in the last two snowfalls ( 18-20 inches not sure with all the dang blowing) I am so over the snow and cold temps. But it is funny how something we end up hating , others can enjoy.

I was eating homemade chicken and potato soup watching the blizzard here in Ontario Canada. Snow swirling and blowing sideways as well. I think its funny watching your excitement....because it dissipates quickly when you have to go outside to shovel especially when the plows dump the mother load at the end of your driveway. Nevermind the already foot in the driveway before the plow kills your back for the rest of the week. But you are cute lol.😅😅😅

And then there were 3! Northwestern Ontario here. Snow was late getting here but it's here to stay now and absolutely freezing the last couple of days. I too got a kick out of Julie getting excited over snow lol.

Here in Iowa we got over 10 inches of snow and with the windchill our temperature is minus 14 degrees. If you want to experience winter you can visit Iowa

I'm in Washington state and we just got a little dusting too, our temperatures have been in the teens and low 20's for a few days now, I'm so ready for the temps to go up. Loved your excitement seeing the snow, Love the snow, just not a fan of the cold.

I grew up in GA and understand the excitement of the snow but now living in MO for a while - we definitely see our fair share of snow and recently below zero temps so it’s no longer as exciting 🤣 enjoy your snow.

We live in West Texas and rarely ever get snow, but I’m with you. I love it, and I get so excited whenever it does. We’ve had really cold arctic air the last couple days here like many areas of the country have which I truly don’t mind, however, I’d like it a lot better if we’d get some snow like other areas are. I’m much older than you are I sure, but I still love the snow and the absolute beauty it gives everything. It just creates such agorgeî winter wonderland that I love! I hope y’all have fun and really enjoy it tomorrow.

I wish I could be that excited about snow but after 3 storms and 21 inches last week and now subzero temps here we've had a rough week in Wisconsin, thankfully my company observes MLK Day so I can stay home in my jammies! That was a great sale, maybe they will reopen next week, a lot left

We have had about a foot of snow here where I live in the Midwest and now we are facing plummeting temps! ❄☃️Brrr!!!🥶 The furniture was absolutely beautiful, especially that bedroom set! Omg... I love those kind of estate sales! Have fun with your snow and thank you for taking us along!

We had blizzard conditions over the weekend here in Omaha Nebraska. anywhere from 4-12 inches of snow, high winds, white out conditions and now wind chills of 20-40 below zero. I am officially done with winter lol, But you had me worried when you said you got kicked out of the sale.... that looks like it was great fun.

It is 7degrees and we were dumped on last night. The snow is knee calf deep. Hubby plowed with the 1949 Farm all we have had since we were young married. We are north west Pa. And the Steeler game got delayed until Mon. as it is in Buffalo. They get deep snow. It is bitter cold out. My booth did exceptionally well the past few weeks. I am in need of some vintage! Heading to a local charity sale on Sat. I am looking for mismatched creamers and sugars. I do assemblages and floral arrangements. That house looks like a movie set! Oh, wouldn't I give to see it in it's hay day. Sipping iced tea on the porch cracking pecans.

I was born in San Antonio, TX but have lived mostly in Central FL. I lived in NJ & WA as a young girl, my dad was in the USAF. Married a USN man & lived in MD, CT NY(Saratoga Springs) and SC, even had snow in Charleston area. My current husband(30yrs) has never lived outside of FL, He has seen snow while we were visiting our youngest son in the NC mountains, he couldn't get back to FL fast enough. LOL😂

Im from Iowa and absolutely hate the snow. Sorry but we deal with so much of it every year and its just not pretty anymore except for the first 1 - 2 inches than thats it. It is right now -20 below and windchill of -45 below so hate winter. Glad you got kicked out cause of the snow. Dont take people long there to shut things down cause of snow. We had 2 days of a blizzard here and places still didnt shut down but then we are used to it.

I’m originally from Alberta, Canada, where it’s winter in some form 8 months of the years lol. Trust me dealing with it is one thing; but it’s currently -46 degrees with the wind chill, believe me when I say THAT’s not fun, although kids don’t seem to mind it, and school NEVER gets cancelled! lol

Did you get good deals? my my nephew told me that in Florida anymore you can't get good deals at Estate Sales, and prices are high and a lot of people. He said that years ago things were better. Mom used to tell me that old books can be worth a lot of money. a bookstore 30 minutes away from me in PA sells old books on ebay for a lot. thrifting I had sometimes the best luck at Salvation Army. all of the Volunteers of America thrift stores closed around here. problem with Salvation Army is a lot of people donate broken electronics. you have to try and test items if you can at the store. I returned the broken stereo once, but still wanted the JBl Northridge speakers, so I paid so much for them. I think 10 or 20 for the pair. when Best buy used to sell them new many yearsago, they were several hundred bucks. do you have a best thriftem item over the years? Goodwill was hit or miss on some stuff. i got a working stereo receiver once, video games and some vintage stuff. Goodwill I always thought as more expensive. got good vinyl records another time in good condition.

That machine looked like a wood lathe. My husband just bought an old one from a high school wood shop. They were getting rid of their shop class. Which makes me sad. Even as a girl I liked shop class.

This type of estate sale is sometimes called a tag sale. They usually organize and price everything and people walk through and shop. Some that I have been to have long lines before they begin on the first day. Sales usually last 2 or 3 days.
