MY FIRST TIME in TAIWAN 🇹🇼 Taipei is *INCREDIBLE* 

It's like south Korea Many people Thought is north korea I'm not Korean but these countries were underrated a few years ago.

Sadly, many many people still do.

Taiwan was more commonly called Formosa. Thailand was called Siam at the time.

Taiwan was once ruled by Japan for 50 years (1895-1945), and there are many things and customs left by Japan

@@user-WinniePooh0604 Modern times are mainly influenced by Japanese pop culture. The only things affected by the Japanese occupation period are the old buildings and the pronunciation of Taiwanese.

He doesnt exactly know how to save money. Spends 8$ on a beach towel in Vietnam. Go to any dollar store like a Daiso for 1-2$ towel. He could have had an Omar/Kavalan world famous whiskey for 300 TWD instead gets lower end Taiwanese beer.

Do what the locals do and get your beer at PXmart or 7-11 or Family Mart. Taiwan Beer or Bar Beer are popular. :) The steamed egg thing you ate is called Chawanmushi, it's Japanese style steamed egg with a little bit of fish cake. 228 Memorial Day is observed every year in Taiwan on February 28. The number “228” represents the date of February 28, when an uprising led to the massacre of thousands of people in Taiwan.
