When Von was trying to give the people in the music video his shoes it prolly meant how since Von lived in Chicago which is one of the most violent states he did what he had to do to survive. Living in that place there’s a lot of trauma prolly because of how common it is to see your loved ones pass right in front of you, so when he tried giving his shoes to the guys in the video, they kinda like rejected it since they didn’t wanna put themselves in Vons position and walk in his shoes.

I think the scene where he had everyone standing around the shoes is not only meant to symbolize what he personally went through, having lost his friend and the drama surrounding that situation..But also to show that it could also happen to anyone of them in that circle, to experience losing a friend or even being that friend somebody else ends up losing. So in the video when von would offer the shoes to everyone, they turned them down, because they didn't want to go through that. Great reaction gursaiv💯🔥
