I had this album in the 70s. I can see how you think it sounds like some modern music. It has a r&b feel, but then it has that little bit of rock sound with the guitar. I like the harmonies too. Someone else suggested Foreigner Waiting for a Girl Like You. I agree! They also have other greats like Cold as Ice, I Want to Know What Love Is, and Feels Like The First Time! Banger band!👍

Baby Come Back was Player's biggest hit, being number one song in US. The bass player Ronn Moss (in orange) played fashion designer Ridge Forrester in soap opera Bold and the Beautiful for 25 years. Nowadays he lives in Italy and released recently new version of this song and it went number one in Belgium.
