Heyy Steph, try boiling the lasagna in a deep pan similar to the one you're using to make the sauce. That way, they don't come out broken, mushed, or caught fire. Take them out using a tong. That's how I do it

FYI. Just for future reference, they do have oven ready lasagna noodles now that do not need to be boiled. It normally says oven ready on the box. Makes it much easier.

as an italian I can tell you that you don’t have to cook the lasagna noodles before , up you put the in the oven uncooked

That lasagna looks sooo good! And yes the Rao's!! Splurging on a marinara sauce makes such a difference and I love trying different brands. I recently tried Little italy in the bronx brand and its delicious and uses Italian imported tomatoes, yum!!

I put my lasagna together the night before with regular lasagna noodles, uncooked. They soak up the liquid from the sauce. It also settles it a bit so it’s nice and firm to cut after it’s baked!
