When you play random rec you got to know what type of archetypes to dodge in the lobby along with the banner color. I have played over 300 games this season in random rec and win 70% of my games. MVP/GOAT status on all my players. I play my role but I primarily look to pass first at every position to get everyone involved and once I start diming everybody I’ll by default become the go to guy after centers or whoever gets the rebound cause it’s as if they’re trusting me to make the right play/pass. I say all that to say rec isn’t that bad just gotta know what to look for and stay away from as well as the type of mindset you should have going into these games. Sure you’re gonna run into some bums on your squad but you can dodge if you’re paying attention.

bro literally had i game i went 9/9 from this 12/12 . Let me walk you through the plays i remember it like it was yesterday. We are down by 4, i have mamba im getting full court pressed, seen my teammate coming to support me i dot him, i try to dex off him after coming up the court they still doubled me , however it workout and he was left open for 3 great shot. We FOUL he miss one makes the other, down by 2. Please just continue reading i hope u feel my pain… I’m now brining it up the court after the bucket, i dot him they are still pressing me clocks ticking about 15 seconds left after i pass half court they leave me to press him, he runs to the mid range and shootings over the big the loc and the pf air balls. MEANWHILE IM OPEN LEFT ELBOW WIDE TF OPEN WITH MAMBA STILL . he then proceeds to say “ aye man i thought i could just run through and get a dunk 🤦🏿‍♂️ “ then he proceeds to say “yea i sold so what , not like im gone see you anyways plus i have 33” . *he shot below 50%* WTF BRO 🤦🏿‍♂️

If I could send this video to every random I encounter in the rec I would. I genuinely don't know what's going on in these peoples head and the funny thing is that 2k actually rewards their dumbass. I swear if one person makes a wild play it all goes downhill from there. It's like they WANT to lose

I just started 2k aint played since 2k19 only a 70 ovr and random rec gonna make me lose my mind nobody knows how to space the floor just a bunch of cherry picking, attempts at iso’s until your teammate gets locked up and passes to you with 5 sec left on the shot clock and 6’5 guards shooting layups with 3 dudes 6’8 and above jumping with them to block it😂
