This game looks amazing. This is the first time im hearing about zwift but this is revelutionary. Being able to compete with people around the globe liike this online and having an online community like this. Looks very fun. I'd like to play something like this but I see its quite expensive.

Came here because I was curious how your attack against the breakaway happened, because the live feed completely missed it. Your group must have been gassed because it seems to me you didn't attack so much as set a high tempo and just steadily rode them off your wheel. Great work.

My brain just can't get over the power you make per heart beat! I'm 64 and my average heart rate was 147 and my max heart rate on a ride this year is 174. I made an average of 145 watts for 2 hours. It is so inspiring to see you pump out the watts. I will never come close to your numbers, but I'm sure pumped to ride! Ride on Lionel!!!!!

Were you using discord during the race? When you broke away, did someone put you in a private chat with the lead group or could everyone hear your strategizing?

I mean, how can someone be doing above 500 W with a HR of 144? That is like my VO2 max, over 195 bpm. Update: Now that I've watched until the end, he says his max HR is 167 bpm. That means he is going at 86% of max HR, which now makes sense. Nevertheless, incredible athlete. His endurance is just outstanding.

great to see what has come out of this global health crisis, but the commentary became that of excuse making for pro and pure cyclist " game play factors, no real test of bike handling, dosen't test climbing ability, you have to get accustomed to Zwift etc. etc.... LOL.. greater than 90% of pro and pure cyclist use e-cycling apps and Zwift to train and warm up. but bcuz thay cant use team tactics and tricks, suck a bunch of wheel get a tow u the road and then lead out the best sprinter to work for only 30 seconds to cross the finish line in front they are getting salty.... LOL.. on zwift the fittest and strongest should win once no cheating...simple ! and i love it !

This is a bad example of esports gamification. Competitive video games strive to limit randomness, not introduce it by random drops. This kind of mechanic belongs in a party games like mario kart. What zwift is doing is the same shit that makes Formula E the laughing stock of motorsport instead of its future.
