Tiffany noona was my 1st ever kpop bias... i first saw her when she was 19 and i was 15 lol it was love at first sight! Even now that we're both older (around the 30 years old mark), i still think that she's 1 of the most gorgeous female idols ever.
Tiffany and Jessica are both American but of Korean ethnicity. They both were born in and pretty much raised in US. In fact Tiffany and Jessica were born in the same hospital...lol.
Fun fact: The reason you see the apple references in SNSD's "You Think" MV is because in Korean the word for apple and the word for apology are spelled the same, so it's a common joke that when you want to apologize to someone you give them an apple. How I interpret the apple references in this MV is that the apple with the nails in it is supposed to be interpreted as the girls are telling the guy " ... you think you're real cool ... coming to me begging for me to forgive you, but I am not accepting your apology." And the silver apple you see, I interpret as being like a led apple which might mean that "your apology may look and sound pretty, but it hits like a piece of led, with no substance and it sounds hollow ... it doesn't sound like you truly are sorry," etc.

Sunny, Hyoyeon and Sooyoung are the Savage Queens of the group. They have no filter. Hyoyeon is not one of the best... she is THE BEST. Sunny will cut you. She's known as the cute one of the group but don't let it fool you. Yoona and at least half of Super Junior can testify to this.
Sunny does definitely have like an adorably yet lethal type of stare on her visual lol and I love sooyoung soo much! Hyoyeon has savage energy as well!

It's not just SNSD.... it's the whole damn kpop industry that looks like supermodels. It's not only in the job description, it's number one on the list.
Not only GG did mature concepts, most girl groups did mature concepts back then. It was common for 2nd hen groups to switch it up every comeback. K-pop kinda went backwards in that they dnt do mature concepts anymore 😔
Yeah I can tell that the girl crush groups are even falling off more. It’s typically just limited to a couple members in each group carrying that energy but not the whole group

The maknae, Seohyun, was _definitely_ having her "I'm not a little girl any more" moment in this. As originally released, this MV had her making a move that had to be edited out....after she rolled on the floor and stuck her legs straight up, she _opened_ them. This was deemed "too sexual" by Korea's broadcast industry. Somehow, she pulls off moves like that with class and panache...no surprise, if you're following her current drama.

Hey Eric - For what it's worth: I saw a vid where Sooyoung and Yuri were on a radio show and two members of Shinee prank-called the show. It was mildy funny, but one thing that came from it was that the GG girls thought of the song "Juliette" when they thought of their SM-mates Shinee. So I dunno, maybe this might be a reason to react to "Juliette" by Shinee
if you wanna look their younger face then you should react their older songs like their debut song "Into the new world" or the most iconic like "gee","genie","i got a boy","the boys" and "mr.mr" but tbh all their songs is iconic af ngl
Sooyoung Hyoyeon and Jessica are definitely the most savage in the group. Sunny would be really scary if you annoys her tho lmao. But Sooyoung is like the most savage idol I've ever seen, no one can stop her once she opens her mouth lol but these girls are dorky and savage towards another, they have no filter everytime they appear in variety shows 😭 and that's why many, especially Koreans, love them so much
