Updated Jimin info that some aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! I have been BTS ARMY for years now, and I have been thoroughly spoiled. So much so that I can not watch many other artists without feeling short-changed. No one puts in effort like BTS with all aspects of their art. The musicality, the lyrics, the stage, the production, the choreo, the visuals. Everything is top notch. Like your reaction to Jimin, glad that you understood and appreciated his talent. His vocals and dance, allways make his solo performances breathtaking, magnificent masterpieces. He is a one in a million type of an artiste. His work make a lot of Western MVs look like backyard productions. The two MVs, Like Crazy, and Set me free part 2 were produced and choreographed to potray his struggles with his uncertainty and emotions during Covid. Everthing coming to a standstill, BTS had their MOTS world tour concerts cancelled, imagine the turmoil he felt. You should check out the explanations for his album called Face and listen throughout to understand what a deep thinker Jimin is .

You should check out Jungkook's Golden album there are mv to 3 of songs off that eg SEVEN, 3D and Standing Next To me as well as live of those song and other off his album V's album Layover has a MV for every song on his album and live' of each song as well including A Tiny desk Concert and a band practice and a jamming session with him playing Saxophone at the end of one of the band practices.

The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this made me that much more excited, for the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” released on March 24, along with his main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Jimin’s other songs “Face-Off”, “Alone”, as well as hidden track “Letter” are all equally amazing! Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! Welcome to the BTS rabbit hole. Jimin is my fave also. these songs were from his solo ep Face. He cowrote all of the songs, it reflects how he felt during lock down. It really is a masterpiece in my book. Jimin also has some solo song from BTS albums. I recommend watching some of his live performances, Before joining BTS he studying modern dance, Like crazy has live performances on youtube. Serendipity live is angelic. If you would like a BTS video that gives a good overview of BTS songs try the Festa room 2021 they do snippets from each album from debut to 2021. All 7 member's have solo work the only member who hasn't release a full album yet but still has plenty of solo work is Jin as he's doing his military service we think he'll be dropping his album when he's back in about 6months time eg 2024 as the other's will all be still be serving and they won't all be back together until 2025. That means Jin has plenty of time to get his solo album out before they are all reunited.
