MY FIRST TIME REACTING TO LOONA 'PTT (Paint The Town)' MV | *DIES* 

I'm actually really impressed with how many lore details you were able to figure out on your first Loona reaction ever. I especially like your interpretation of the East of Eden line because in the context of the Loonaverse it does actually make a lot of sense and I never caught that before. So, the Loonaverse is a pretty complicated ordeal and I'm not even going to attempt explaining it here. I'll just say this: three planes of existance, superpowers, God, Original Sin, escaping the Garden of Eden, robots, the destruction and recreation of the moon, string theory, etc. Loona are often referred to as The Avengers of K-Pop. Why is that? Well, just like there were a bunch of solo superhero movies that eventually lead up to the Avengers assembling in 2012, the Loona members started releasing solo and subunit MVs in 2016 before finally debuting as a full group in 2018. They released almost two years worth of music before they even had their official debut. Every member has an assigned colour and animal and every MV (and even the teasers) added new details to their storyline. And these videos are dense as fuck. I've seen hour-long videos analysing every minute detail of one music video. For now, I think you should stick to the main group MVs for your reactions. Those are Hi High, Butterfly, So What, Why Not, and maybe Star. But if you then decide to take the deep dive, you really should do the solo and sub-unit MVs in chronological order. I value your breakdowns a lot so it'd be really interesting to see how you interpret the storyline and how it evolves. Loonaverse is the name of the lore of this group. There are 12 girls and each of them have their own color and animal representation. This music video is very lore heavy and I suggest you start with the pre-debut music videos in chronological order. There are also hints of lore in the descriptions of each video so you won’t get too lost when watching. Another tip is that teasers they release are most of the time connected to the story that they are telling. loonaverse: each loona member debuted first as a solo artist over the course of two years. there was a color, shape and animal assigned to each of them so when you see a girl with a specific color surrounding her or like deer antlers or like a wolf pelt it’s because those are their colors and animals after their debuted as a solo artists they were grouped into three separate sub-units, there is “1/3” they are located on planet earth “odd eye circle” place themselves between earth and the cosmos and eatch of them represent a moon and each have an odd eye that gives them powers, when their odd eye becomes full into a moon their powers ignite and together they’re able to create a circle teleporter that allows them to teleport in between all the different places and worlds third sub-unit “yyxy” witch stands for (youth youth by young) they were born in Eden, a utopia land, witch is located between eartch and odd eye cirlce, each member possesses a special fruit and if they eat it they’ll be exiled to earth, they end up rejecting Eden. after the sub_units debuted eventually they became a team and through their next few releases they had to overcome various obstlike a supernova while trying to find a way to unite as one team. in the release before this one “why not” they succeeded in creating a new moon to shield the earth from the supernova, witch then brings us to this release, “paint the town” covers a them of destruction of the old and rebirth as loona continues their mission to protect the universe

YESSSS LOONA!!!! The performance and synchronization queens of KPOP. If I could only stan 2 groups it would be Loona and Dreamcatcher. It only takes a few dozen hours of research to understand the lore but when you do the songs all have a really deep meaning. I would also suggest checking out their dance practices, because their choreo is some of the most intricate in the industry and the MVs don't do the dancing justice. I also think the Avengers of Kpop video would be a good watch once you've gotten into them. It explains very well

so the 3 girls that have the eclipse shaped colored eyes. they are actually a sub unit of loona called Odd Eye Circle or OEC. Before Loona debuted every single member had a solo debut leading up to the group's debut. After Choerry (purple), Kim Lip (Red), and Jinsoul (Blue) did their solos, they formed a unit called Odd Eye Circle and they released two songs, Girl Front and Sweet Crazy Love. Ah yes...Hola! Loona time best time. Good luck with this one you will need it. I rarely suggest to creators what to react to or what videos to do but I will make an exception today. I highly recommend a guide to the loonaverse and also, since you have now been doing this for a while, a video of your top 5 or 10 tracks so far and why would be awesome to check out! Keep it up mate!

I think the twelve doors refer to doors of communication between the twelve members (this really is a big group but there are still even larger groups). But the doors can also mean different dimensions, one for each lady. Both the girl in the Red skirt at the beginning and the girl in the Blue skirt at the end are alone (in their own dimensions), but they seem to communicate with each other. Dimensions can be different from each other even if they are on the same plane of existence. This video could be portraying extra-dimensional communication (what a HUGE idea!) or it could just be talking about each lady's individualism and how they have to keep in touch with each other, even if that is difficult sometimes. They stick together as a team and so far it is working, they made it to the big-time as a group (safety in numbers, etc). Some of them are very good friends with each other and there are sub-units (and maybe some of them even get shipped because of that) while others seem sort of distant from each other. But they all work together for the same goal. AMAZING song, always seems too short to me because it is so fun to hear and see. :)

Kim Lip (red skirt) was in the plataform of her solo song (Eclipse) and there is evidente that Jinsoul (blue skirt) encounter here there. Odd eye circle are trying to find a way to connect all the girls of loona in one place of the Mobius stripe. And they are the only ones capaple of that. And the fact that Jinsoul appears at the end, is a confirmation that they really found each other on that place.

There are a lot of layers to this song and MV. To understand the significance of PTT you need to know a little about Vivid, the first Loona solo and the beginning of the Loonaverse. In the Vivid MV Heejin's world is very mundane and literally black & white and she thinks about her dreams coming true. She was alone and she created the Loonaverse(yes, God is a woman!!!) from her dreams. PTT is her doing the same thing but this time she's not alone and the world that is going to be created is more vibrant because there are more colors this time and there are more dreamers too. When you share a dream it becomes more powerful because you can share your struggles as well as your triumphs. One aspect of the Loonaverse that I don't think gets enough praise is how tenderly it treats the dreams of young girls and women. PTT is a confident, positive song where women are supporting women and I stan that so hard. 🥰 I really wish Loona was around when I was young.

this comeback was my introduction to loona. i remember how confused i was by the sound and the mv and that i didnt like ptt very much after first listen. but since then this has grown to be one of my favorite songs over all! i love how strong everything and everyone is in this song and mv! 💜😎🔥💪 and the dance practice for ptt is just amazing as well!

I'm not an Orbit but for me the video "The Avengers of Kpop: a story of Loona" by The Asian Theory was very helpful. They have sooo many mv's that are in some way connected / in the same universe (loonaverse) that it gets daunting for new fans to join the fandom. But I felt that video was a good introduction while also explaining well just how ambitious Loona as a project was/is.

But in the end of the day, in the loonaverse storyline there's no wrong or right, everyone can have their own interpretation and that's the fun of it 🫂 Besides the lore, they have an flawless discography so I recommend you to check out more of their songs like So What and Butterfly.

Loona’s music and visuals are something else.. this is one my least fav title tracks (and it’s still a banger!). They have such a great no-skip discography it’s almost not fair- not a bad song in sight, and so many top tier experimental tracks. Their dream pop stuff is especially magical. You should def check out some of their b-sides once you watch their solos, subunit and group MVs!! You will not be disappointed getting into this amazing group

that the thing with loona if you want go deep down into they're universe you can love them a lot . but it's not a group for every body .many thing to point . 1 they're agency build them like the next big thing in kpop . they spend a lot of money to build they're universe . they take one year to debut them they lauch a music video every month for each members all members of loona as they're introduction MV . 12 GIRLS 12 month 12 mv's even before they're debut as a group . then they star they're career with 12 members and amoung the kpop fans we call them "THE AVENGERS of KPOP" 2 they got many various girls with differant music vibe and taste .some you can love and some don't . 3 but thtaht didn't work in korea to big project to many girls . even for me it's a huge struggle to remmeber all they're name and position and they can have amazing HIT and absolute fail 4 they 're pretty popular oversea but not in they're own country so they need this show to bring what they got and conquer our heart . as a korean i admit than most of the time i sleep on them i'am very curious to see what they got on this show . i love some members they got talented vocalist . so can't wait .
