MY FIRST TIME WATCHING HAZBIN HOTEL EPISODE 2! | HAZBIN HOTEL REACTION 

90% of the fandom has hated Valentino long before this episode dropped and we heard his voice for the first time because we've already seen him before in Addict. Interesting to see you learning about him without knowing about him before.

Vox technically didn't lie, technically, about that angel protection. He said they were working on it. He just never said when they started.

fun fact with the voices of Val, Vox and Alastor. Vox is more easy to see the effects on his voice as a TV demon. Val is based on a moth and if you listen closely you can hear moth squeaks in his voice. Alastor's radio effect is obvious but what might not be so obvious is when the "Let's begin" scene gets to the part where his antlers grow, and earlier when he blows up Sir Pentious, you can hear the wails of the wendigo which is a humanoid, deer-like, cannibalistic creature and Alastor fits those descriptive factors so the noise fits

A fun fact: Sir Pentious' VA is actually the same as Adam's (Alex Brightman, who's best known for his role as Beetlejuice in, you guessed it, Beetlejuice), and he's got an amazing and unique voice. He's also in Hazbin Hotel's sister series, Helluva Boss, as the character Fizzarolli. Anyways, I'm so excited to see what you think of the rest of the show! (And I don't know if you've gotten the heads up yet, but Episode 4 deals with some potentially triggering topics of SA, so I just thought I'd give you a warning, because there isn't a full warning, other than raising the rating for the episode to 18+ as opposed to 16+ the show had previously) I also highly recommend watching Helluva Boss after you're done Hazbin. It's got a similar vibe and has two seasons as of now, with Season 1 having 8 episodes and Season 2 currently having 7 episodes (more are supposed to come out soon). It's even a musical too! (Only one song per episode as opposed to Hazbin Hotel's two per episode, but it's still got some great music that will get stuck in your head)

also I’m fairly sure pentious wasn’t lying once he was caught 😭😭 he just got told to kill himself by the group he admires, and charlie’s genuine kindness and hope for him to improve is what makes him change gears

angel’s issue is less with not being the center of attention and more so that charlie hasn’t shown him the same encouragement she showed pentious (which ofc is bc pent is lying but yknow). he doesn’t have any faith in himself improving and seeing charlie congratulate and praise pentious makes him even less confident that he can change. at least how i saw it.

Enjoying the show more than I'd expected, I'll defiantly go watch the whole thing after.

Alastor & Vox are rivals, like the term Video killed the radio.they hav an opposing view on technology, Alastor hated tech that's invented aftsr his death, while Vox approves. The reason the British accents in this show are more realistic than the stereotypical posh British accent you see in a lot of more mainstream American shows is the creator Vivienne Medrano is from Frederick, Maryland which used to be a British colony and is of Salvadorean descent and bisexual hence all the LGBT+ and Latinx representation in the show.
