This reminds me of what happens in almost every game I play, but everyone just yells at me. It really hurts just to have people yelling at you every match. Makes me not want to play the game.

The Ana didn’t have to be so rude towards the Brigitte, just because she healed more doesn’t mean Brigitte was a bad healer Say the tank dives in and takes a lot of damage and you only heal them you’ll get a lot of heals, the other healer maybe heals the other two on the team who play more carefully, their healing is good but their stats don’t show it

I like mercy alot but getting shot while guardian angelling really makes me appreciate playing kiriko even more. The teleport is so nice.

Watching this makes me feel it in my bones when my teammates are 15 blocks away from each other; then they're surprise you can't heal them all at once.

my first toxic game of ow2 was the very first game i got into, and the one after that....and the one after that....

it can be rough being a Mercy main these days...

people still playing support in ow2 and trying to be nice to the team are doing gods work. I used to be support main in ow1, but now i rarely queue for sup because i can't take it anymore

What I’ve been trying to do is not respond too much when ppl are blaming me or just being toxic to me in general. It does nothing but feed your insecurities and makes your mood worse than it should be.

I hate when this kind of stuff happen, just yesterday i got into a game as Kiriko (Which i’m not very skilled yet) and people we’re bashing and insulting me, yelling to me to leave the match. It annoys and honestly makes me kind of feel bad

I had my first toxic game when I was playing with my DAD. it was in unranked too. Some dude told me to kms bc I only had 200 heals as Moria - but I switched to her at the end of the game to support HIM since he was the tank and I was hoping he’d be able to charge in with my help. I was Sombra the entire game up until then. Just goes to show how some people don’t pay attention to their teammates and just don’t care about the actual people they play with and against :(

I had to deal with a toxic sym just yesterday because sym was complaining alot ( I'm a healer btw and I was healing them alot when we were on point) and then I told him nicely to relax it's not a big deal and then he called me a b!txh so I cussed him out, his wife and reported them too even my husband was cussing them too. Were both healers and we hate toxic players like that especially when they left because they can't take our rudeness but they started it first.

And this right here is why the first things I do on any multiplayer game now are to turn off voice chat, disable in game text boxes, and hide in game usernames

Just started playing the game and made the mistake of going into competitive. Had to experience toxicity not only towards me but towards another player who was support and kept us in the game and we won. Felt so bad for them.

People need to be more positive like you. You’re so positive to where they don’t even trash talk toward you and sometimes even the enemy team feels bad that you’re stuck with such a toxic team. For the record, I’m not a toxic person, the only difference is that I’m the one getting trashtalked

idk why this makes me feel better. i just got into overwatch and started playing my first few competitive games, and i wanted to do healing. usually i do mercy, but mercy was taken and my bad for not thinking of that. so i sucked at the other healing players, and kept dying n stuff. my teammate in chat kept spamming saying i was bad, trash, and they should report me. i feel terrible for bringing everyone down, even though my team was winning. watching this made me feel better cus now ik this is normal :,,)

Godly mercy movement! Always commend healers in every game

Movement truly does separate a decent Mercy from one that struggles to climb. With the way her kit is, survivability really is essential. Evasive movement and proper positioning is the probably only reason I was able to play her to Diamond. I could really improve my aim and my leading/tracking though, which is the main thing preventing me from playing a lot of Ana or Baptiste.

I'm starting to get these games. I'm a new overwatch player since I just started to play when overwatch 2 launched but I've gotten a pretty good handle of things. At first I played with people who didn't know what they're doing and then I could notice the matchmaking was changing everytime. Now am being matched with almost everyone having a title "master challenger" or "Top 500 challenger" and the games r really toxic. So far I've met a few that will get on mic just to insult the whole team while they have the least kills, damage and always going in by themselves separating from the team and still expecting you to heal them from miles away. Like you would expect since the matchmaking gets harder you would have teammates that listen to the "group up" or "come for healing" but nope. They ignore it completely and then get mad when they die

Genuine question at 2:40 there’s what looks like a purple/pink enemy outline(it’s small) to right of Winstons(Ally) outline when she’s walking toward door. Been playing since 1 launched still can’t figure it out any answers

I honestly wish there was a way for people who intentionally throw because they're having a tantrum to lose 50 times more SR than everyone else. Or maybe pair throwers and leavers with other throwers and leavers.

Mercy is my main I been playing since the first Overwatch . I have had many people tell me I am the best mercy they ever seen . However the other day I did see a very good mercy I will say she was even better than me .It makes me so mad and upset when the other people on the team blame me when I did nothing wrong . I am not saying im perfect because we all have our bad days and there is times I do make bad decisions. For example, sometimes there is one person left on the point or payload and I rush the help them ,they just die because it is only us and then I die . I have done that a couple times because I try to help everyone . I played a game yesterday and the reaper and mei were DooDoo garbage!!!! Reaper was by himself in a room and died , and nobody was protecting the healers . All the sudden junk rats rip tire came out and I backup up healing Sigma ... Well the tire killed all of us and we lost the game!!! Then mei said to report me ... -__- I am like what am I supposed to do , I try my best , we all died!!!

As a female mercy main in high masters who USES vc, it doesn’t get any better the higher up you go. It gets incredibly tiring, and I promise you a lot of the time, the angry person will just target anyone who comes into voice even if all they’re saying it comm info like “rein behind.” This game is so horrible. And when you do stand up for yourself especially as a woman they and their friends mass report you. Trash game tbh.

It’s like watching replays of my matches except my teammates almost never crack 10k

I finally had my first very toxic competitive game this past week playing as mercy lol. Literally 30 seconds into the game our tank (roadhog lol) was like “REALLY MERCY? ONLY 80 IN HEALS?” This guy was just going on in voice chat about how “trash” I was and how Moira, our other support, on our team was so much better and whatnot, this roadhog was also complaining that we lost already only a minute into the game mind you. Anyway, the game ends, we ended up winning, I had the highest number in heals in the entire lobby, about 12 saves, good damage boost beam usage. It’s crazy how toxic people can really be on this game hahaha.

That last Lucio play 4:42 was WILD.

they nerfed mercy by making all of your teammates worse by 20% when you’re playing her

@Ariana just ignore such one's. I'm getting yelled after I begin this game 2 weeks (I never played ego shooter games or something similar). After I tried supports mainly I just played a casual as dps with echo (my aim is rlly bad xD) and done not that much damage.... Meanwhile ans after the match (we won anyways) 2 players just flamed and yelled, I should deinstall bla bla bla.. It's quite hard to stay positive, but after all, just let them. It's they're wasted energy. You did an amazing job as Mercy and Lucio and we all saw it in your vid. Keep on playing continuous friendly 🤗

I was playing a game as lucio and I was stalling the payload and they called me dog even tho I stalled the payload for so long and my whole team except a guy called calm very fitting were hating on me. like i was saying I stalled the payload but didnt heal them because i was stalling and the teammate called calm got potg and they also made fun of him and 1 of the dps said he killed everyone at the end when potg showed calm killing everyone at the end oh yeah the guy at the end said lucio your dog and then said look who got potg "FAM" IN A BRITISH ACCENT

With that last clip, for some reason, I instinctively went to type back at him to explain why you couldn't heal him, I'm not sure why, I'm not even on my pc

I haven't played any fps games for about a year, hopped on OW2 yesterday--just some QP, and the community only got worse somehow from what I experienced lol. Also they got rid of LFG, general chat in the menu screen, and I can't browse the Top500 leaderboards anymore while I'm waiting in queue... why'd they go do all that? Additionally, why'd they make it so that in order to see the entirety of chat I have to enter chat now? Now I can't just peek over. Plus, all the ranks look "bland," dull, and I'll confuse diamonds and Top500s, and golds and grandmasters. This second paragraph doesn't have to deal with the video, but, I just wanted to say that I personally feel like the game got downgraded in multiple little ways--not sure if anyone else feels the same.

This stuff is so funny lol. They all played so bad and all blamed eachother 😭😭

Yeah ow2 is way more toxic than I thought :(. My first few competitive games I wasn't doing too well (which is expected, I am still new and figuring things out). Rather than dropping tips or even just silence, I'm getting flamed by my teammates. I went three games of this and quit. I like the game, but I can't play in peace. I join for a fun game or to rank up in competitive but leave in frustration after just a handful of games. I can't even get better because all I learn coming out of each game is how much my teammates hate me for having the lowest stats. Disappointing. A bit of a rant, but I conclude with a question: Any tips? Both dealing with these teammates and general gameplay ones.

This is why I've just given up playing Mercy and started playing Brig. Playing Mercy without a premade party of minimum 3 is nigh impossible anywhere below Masters. At least I can pick up DPS slack and pretty much become the 3rd DPS, heal at the same time, and put frontal pressure without sacrificing my healing. If that still doesn't yield a win, then the team just stinks and I can move on.

"Do damage" "Get a kill" Yet if you tried to kill/damage someone as Mercy they'd scream at you for not healing
