JD. Don’t get in the habit of hooking your straps to the bottom of the stake pockets. Any slack that happens and they will fall off. Drop them down through the pocket and up the outside and hook the top.
@thedoitalldad765

Should look into a 3 point quick hitch. Makes hooking up to implements easier. Land planes works good for gravel drives. Box blade is very versatile. You need a speed ball on that steering wheel.

Kukje Machinery is owned by Tong Yang Moolsan. AKA "TYM". TYM makes a number of branded tractors. They built the tractors Cabelas was selling a few years ago as well as those that currently being sold by Rural King as "RK Tractors". . Over the years they've built Branson, Charger, Century, Millennium, Montana and a host of other bit players. At one point they were building some of Mahindra's tractors for them.

Love this!!! I appreciated the comparisons, both in capability and price to others on the market. For me, it is also important how close the dealership is and if they are an authorized dealership of whatever large purchase I make. This is important when required to have any service work done, especially trailered equipment. Thank you to the dealership for allowing a video to be made covering the different aspects of the product. It is appreciated. Thank you also for filming, editing and producing this video.

Congrats on the new tractor. It does not DPF because anything below 26 HP does no require Tier IV emissions. The Mahindras' have a non DPF setup too for above 26 HP. I have a Kubota L2501 which is a bigger frame and heavier than this. I would get a lot of rear weight otherwise you are going to lift those rear tires really easy. I would recommend getting a third function and a grapple. When towing my Kubota I would never use straps. There are too many stories about straps failing. I have a clevis on my drawbar and use chains to tie down the front and rear. Looking forward to your reviews of this machine.

I just looked up info on the bad boy tractor right before seeing this video. I found that Branson tractors made a deal with bad boy. Branson tractors are made by Kukje Machinery of South Korea. Kukje apparently makes/made engines John Deere and other manufacturers. Just looked again and saw that TYM acquired Kukje in August.

Definitely get a ballast box or fill the rear tires or both! Not only so you can safely lift at full capacity but also so you don't tear you front axle apart, I have blown seals before without ballast. Keep more weight at or behind the rear axle.
@RCPSU4

See if RimGuard is around in your area. It's a natural ballast. Canopy, wise, if you check out Tractor Time With Tim, you'll see a canopy which has a fan in it. Would be good if you know ahead that you want a grapple then you'll get the third function.

Hopefully it serves you well. Tym makes the tractor. Not sure if you were told that. Only thing I don't like is the loader valve. They sell in 4 brands it's just goofy how bulky it is for as many tractors as they sell. Also I hope tym makes parts across these brands easy to get as they age.

I have a 2014 Montana 2844. It is a rebranded LS Cables tractor made in Korea as well with a Mitsubishi Engine. I think it is pretty similar in size to yours, and has similar specs. I have a 1200lb lift capacity, but you definitely need ballast. I can pick up and move 1000lb round bales with my bale spear, but I definitely feel the weight and on uneven ground it can lift a rear wheel. A set of skid steer pallet forks would serve you well for loading and unloading materials.

I own a 2017 Kubota B2650 with loader, backhoe, rear tine tiller, blade and box scraper. Amazing tractor and believe Kubota to be the best on the market though there are many good alternatives for a variety of reasons. Bad Boy's look great. One of the tests / evaluations to consider is their claim on the front-end loader capability. I'm highly suspect it can lift what the owner claims. Doesn't mean it's bad but what seems to be common among the #3 (Kubota & JD being 1 & 2) and beyond players to differentiate themselves is to exaggerate their capability. Guessing whatever this unit is will be great for your uses though. Use a shackle for the draw bar to strap down. Not sure how the front of the Bad Boy is made but use of shackles on the frame is also convenient. I prefer to strap down the tractor with two points. Look into having some hooks welded onto the top of the bucket. Will be great to have for certain loads plus provides another tie down option. Look at Rim Guard in the tires. This will provide a 24x7 ballast. You could look at ballasts boxes or a rear attachment such as a box scraper then add weight to it. I cut a weightlifting bar then welded them in a vertical position to my box scraper to place iron plates with screw down caps - can optionally add concrete blocks but they don't provide the weight density. This adds weight when using the box scraper on gravel driveways, dirt, etc plus helps with ballast.

TYM makes decent tractors although they are basically a one size fits all for multiple brands. You can't beat the price being they are built in South Korea vs Deere & Kubota which are built here (well most of Kubota are built here with parts from their home country of Japan). You save on upfront cost but getting parts is a different story from what I hear. Having a good dealer is a plus but this is where paying that premium cost for a Deere or Kubota pays dividends. As far as a canopy I would see if Artillian has one that fits. They have an easy snap on system that works with most ROPS but can be removed in seconds. Congrats JD.
@brandoncaldwell95
@brandoncaldwell95 2 года назад
A lot of smaller Deere tractors share TYM and Kioti parts. Mahindra is no different at it has direct interchangeable parts with some TYM models. These are mainly for the small tractors. Once you get to the higher teirs in HP, they change to being direct deere parts or mahindra parts.
@Lilfarmrboy
@Lilfarmrboy 2 года назад
@@brandoncaldwell95 I've owned all sorts of compacts & sub compacts, Deere, Kubota, Mahindra, & LS. I have never seen TYM parts on any Deere tractor. That would literally go against the grain of Deere being very protective of its parts chain & cost control. I believe you may be thinking of LS & New Holland which were identical tractors (when LS started doing its own thing) but still used New Holland part numbers for several years afterwards. I'm very familiar with most brands. I'm not saying you're wrong I'm just saying I've never personally seen it with respect to Deere.

GREAT CHOICE!!!!!! We are actually looking at the 4025 and 4035, I need a smaller more easily handling tractor around the ranch, getting out the Large cab tractor to just move some dirt or mow a small plot gets old. Look at a set of Pat's Quick Hitch, a Piranha tooth bar, and either Pallet forks or a Debris forks and most important filling the rear tires with fluid, Im a huge fan if Rim-Guard. The Pat's QH are great and makes it easier hooking up implements. The Piranha bar will make digging harder soil so much easier. The debris forks works Great for picking up trash if you don't have a grapple.

Let’s just hope TYM quality has improved over the years, they had ALOT of quality control issue’s with mismatched parts and whatnot. I have not heard or seen anything good about them at all the last few years and most dealers around me ended up dropping them due to poor part’s quality and actually getting parts for them. I would have seriously considered a Deere or a Kubota over a TYM made tractor. Yeah, price may be good but quality suffers.
