Hi. I'm new to your channel but I'm hooked already! Your way with horses is so inspiring. Especially the way you bring on the youngsters. So calm, kind and patient with them. I think a lot of riders/breeders could learn a lot from you 😊
This was amazing, you looked like you had so much fun together, fab test and I'm so glad you have your gorgeous turbo cob back up doing awesome. Your hard work, determination and love for Obi is shown in abundance 😍
I recently found your videos and I am totally enthralled by you and your horses. You have a tender heart which I think makes you a wonderful person. Keep up the videos. I learn from you and think you are so sweet and kind.
great tests and so much fun to see the music test! :D I actually just did my very first dressage to music KUR myself, and know the fell, I almost cried of just pure joy at the end of my test. it was the most amazing feeling :D
Your music routine was just a joy to watch !! Super well done to you and Obi...your an awesome team ! Your vids are the absolute best, you obviously belong in front of the camera as well as with your horses. Thanks for taking us along 🥰😘😍
I love your videos, so well done! I stumbled upon one of your videos when I was looking for some different gymnastic ideas for my show hunter. I have since been watching! You crack me up, your expressions are priceless. You do a great job with the horses and have superb positivity. Keep up the great vlogs! -Nicole from Virginia
Loved it. I’ve always wondered, does Obi just make you look like a tiny human or is he just rather large? 😂 He looks even bigger in this video for some reason.
Congratulations Miri & Obi that was amazing results. Loved the music btw. Obi is such a chilled horse so patient & you look to have a wonderful bond with him. Great vlog thank you xx 🌹💕🌻💕🌹
I love that Stubben leather moisturiser, used it my whole life, makes tack that lovely supple leather in no time at all. Have also used in leather handbags! Lol
Congrats Miri, so good to see you both doing so well! I'd love to understand a bit more about what judges look for in music pieces vs regular dressage? Look forward to your videos as always!
Well done Miri and Obi on a wonderful performance, you could tell that you both thoroughly enjoyed performing it to the music. Hope to see more in the future 🐱
Dancing Obi. Just sooooo beautiful to watch you two.❤❤ XxLove a bit of dressage to music. You are both bloody Awsome. As a matter of interest how .any years of riding/ dressage did it take you Mirri to get to this level.? Think I am too old now to have time to get anywhere near this...geriatric dressage.😂🤣😂🤣 . Xx
Everything goes pearshaped cos your normal miri lol...it happens to all of us lol, your test was fab and obi just flowed you did fantastic and I always love watching you ride it looks so effortless 😊...that whinney too🤣
I love this! Just out of curiosity, how do you find the Micklem bridle? Was there a specific reason you have one or was it just for their obvious benefits? I'm thinking about getting one for my horse to hopefully decrease his itchiness.
This was the best video! I watched you and your mom buy this horse at auction, I fell in love with him immediately as apparently you both did also, he did "float," what a dreamy mover. I was quite surprised to see you in a musical dressage routine (!!!)- at only 3 (?) I was thinking I'd see you both working on much more rudimentary beginning things! So impressed, loved the music (JAZZ!) your outfit, getting ready... you make a GOOD team :) Very inspiring, at 62 it's wonderful to see you doing this and being so young! Thanks so much for sharing this :) P.S. how do you spell his name (Obie?)...
Think you are slightly mixed up about which horse is which. Obie is a lot older than three and isn't the new horse. The new horse is out in the paddock having a holiday.
Bravo! I almost cried. I am just wondering about posting at the trot during a test. I pretty new to your channel, so if you have explained this before I'm sorry!!
In the lower levels you do rising trot because greener horses doesn't have the back strenght to carry a rider at sitting trot for extended times. In the higher levels you can choose between posting or sitting - most riders then do what they are used to at home. And at the highest level you do sitting trot as you are more able to communicate difficult movements with your body that way.
@@marissajonkers3756Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. This makes perfect sense. I stopped riding over 10 years ago due to health issues. But I love watching channels like this one!
@@Patti-1962Pleasure! I am so sorry that you can't ride anymore! I am only on a brief sabbatical due to pregnancy and miss my horses so much. So I am also living through equine videos at the moment 🤗
Patti 1962 I just started riding again after some pretty serious knee surgery, (not a replacement), and even though I don’t look good up there, it feels marvelous! What a morale booster. I hope that you can get back on a horse sometime soon. Even if I all you do is walk.
Question (I jump so this may be a dumb question) for your first “regular test” you guys obviously get the pattern ahead of time????? So you can memorize it/practice or do you learn it right there at the show I know show jumping courses are much shorter and you get to walk them before you get on but that would stress me out to show up and have to learn your pattern day of!
It was a bit hard to tell all of the songs because of the quality of the audio by the time it made it to the video. Would you mind telling us which songs you used in order?
I got taught to never wash your leather, we use oil and buff them and the dirt slides off. I always see English people doing it your way. So it must be a difference between England and here in Australia.
