Today was my first ever visit to Dollywood! After so long the day finally came and boy oh boy was Dollywood amazing! So many beautiful places in the park, awesome rides and more. Dollywood has something for everyone and should be on everyone’s list.

Before I retired, I visited this area on a business trip… gorgeous! As a pass holder for both Disneyland and Knotts, I couldn’t agree more about how Dollywood has achieved a beautiful blending of both parks… and so uniquely it’s own. Thanks for taking us along.

Dolly has a book program kids get 1 a month til they turn 5. My grandkids loved waiting for their dolly books to come in the mail. Amazing

Love your videos, and love the look of this park. One suggestion, when you can’t take us on the rides with you, can you show a little more of the coasters from off ride? Sometimes it feels a bit rushed between rides and we don’t get to see much of what they’re like? Great videos either way, really nicely filmed! 😊

This is my park away from So Cal. I’m looking at homes in that part of Tennessee now, so it WILL be my park. I’ve been to Dollywood quite a few times. So, look into a holiday season return because the park is insanely beautifully themed and lit through December. Also, the main drag of Pigeon Forge has sooo many shows to see and so much to do. Thanks for a great reminder.

That coaster at 11:56 looks like they use the 'Go Away Green' paint on the tracks/support. Looks really cool.

Love Dollywood. I grew up as a kid going there alot. We use to buy season passes and go several times a year. The Fall and Christmas themes are A MUST SEE and are my favorite!!

Best thing we did move to Louisiana. A half acre of land and beautiful trees behind our backyard fence. But the best part a days drive to Dollywood.

Lightening Rod was one of my favorite rides there. Even more so, maybe top 5 coaster I've ridden. That bunny hop section was so intense. I loved the ride, no breaks just full force beginning to end.

I graduated this past spring from UT-Knoxville and the sun was so annoying for me my last semester. I studied abroad in London during the fall and the sun would set before 4pm and coming back to Knoxville and having the sun be out till 8:30-9 was a rough adjustment lol

If you can visit Dollywood during the holidays. We were there a few days after Thanksgiving and it was amazing! Very cold, but that didn't interfere with the fun! It was beautiful with the Christmas lights!

Very impressive place would love to visit the Park and the Pigeon Forge area. Dollywood announced in February they would pay all expenses for their employees to persue College and University, well done.

On your next visit, ride the tram in from the parking lot. That's an adventure too. The announcements are not scripted or regimented like Disneyland. We had a tram where the lady in the back giving the announcements introduced her husband who was the driver of the tram. They had some hilarious banter back and forth. It was definitely a great way to kick off the day. They had the whole tram laughing. So glad you finally made it to Dollywood. I hope some other vloggers go there too. It is definitely a hidden gem.

Great info on the rides, I've booked my trip for the Fall staying at the Dream More resort. The perks you receive for staying there versus a Disney resort, can't be beat. Still waiting on that airfare though, it's really expensive to fly to TYS.

Dylan, so glad that you and Michael got to Dollywood! We met you both at Knott’s during the Boysenberry Festival in the bakery and told how much we enjoyed it when we. went a few years ago (yes we got the wonderful cinnamon bread too!). I think you were both spot on in saying it is like Knott’s and Disneyland combined, and it is. Next time you must stay at Dolly’s DreamMore Resort which is right up their with a Disney World resort (where we are right now). I too would love to see Dollywood around the holidays!

My 2 cents for dollywood- Lightning rod in row 11, off the wheel. The bakery at the entrance is stupid good. Thunderhead in the front. Use the city tram and parking lot if you dont want to pay for parking, very easy system.

great video. ive been wanting to get there. Its funny how you kept mentioning the amount of daylight at dollywood. Im from Canada and we have daylight till past 11pm in the summer. Going to disneyland is always an adjustment

This was great, my first trip to Dollywood was this past Christmas, I’m from NC, but live in FL now - so it was really fascinating to see a well-kept, beautifully designed theme park tucked in the mountains with gorgeous views! It’s lovely at Christmas as well, can’t wait to go back sometime. How about that real coal burning train?! It’s so loud & we got soot on us 🚂 All Part of the experience, kids! 😆, Oh and You never said what you thought about the Eagle Flyer yo!

If you like this park, you should come to Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach in Athol, Idaho! It's the only theme park in the Inland Northwest, it's the best!
