The costs of New York has always caused me to shy away from NYC for a long period of time. There’s a lot of fascinating people and sights to see for sure. But overall, I think the expectations don’t meet reality because the bar is set so high by media. Great video though. Looking forward to seeing more content about experiences as a nomad.
That's a tough one! They are very similar in many ways but also have some big differences. Would say the most notable difference is New York is more expensive and feels more hectic but the business is kind of hectic in a weird way. I'd definitely like to try living here one day if I could get a New York salary 😄
@@JackJenkinsYT Interesting. I think that if you come from Europe, NYC and America overall may seem very expensive but that’s because wages in European countries are lower so they do not match the cost of living there hence the initial shock at prices compared to home. However, If you were on a NY salary, you’d be surprised to see that it’s actually cheaper than London in terms of public transport, rent and many other aspects of life. I like both I’d probably learn towards London bc it’s in Europe which means quick getaway weekends and travels to amazing countries. The weather tho…. 😅😭 from October till March: it’s grim and depressing wheres in NYC I feel like people there get more sunny days all year around.
