My First Wilds of Eldraine Set Booster Box 

Can’t mtg gamers just enjoy the cards for what they are? It’s not about the pulls or the cards that make profit, it’s just a card game… btw I collect these cards for the artwork.

I picked up a single set booster at Walmart while I was grocery shopping and I pulled a Rhystic Study! Felt amazing

Just when you complained the box was a little underwhelming🤩

I got a Rhystic Study anime borderless foil in a booster pack.

I bought a set booster box and got Enchanting Tales Doubling Season, Enchanting Tales Blood Moon foil, Greymond, Avacyn’s Stalwart in the list slot and Beseech the Mirror. I’m pretty happy about it!

My pre release kit comes in the mail today, late thanks to USPS. Can't wait to get hosed down in pound town!

Just enjoy the cards for what they are. When you are worrying about all these special cards like the "confetti foils, numbered, galaxy foils, the one of ones" you stop caring about all the cool art and mechanics the cards have. Buy the cards to play the game and you will enjoy them more. Collecting becomes redundant as it is the same thing over and over again.

Get some games in man! Build some commander decks, standard or whatever makes your boat float and get them game juices flowing. I know exactly what you feel. Lately I have been brewing and building decks with the piles of cards I've bought, collecting dust, and it's super fun. Built an Etali, Primal Conqueror commander deck and slapped in all the random gruul cards I love, some ramp, some removal and bam, fun deck! No plans, just violence and weirdness and it makes me happy to play it. Got to find the happy place. ❤️

Heart goes out to you Joey. As much as I enjoy cracking packs. It’s not sustainable if I never actually get to play them at all. Which is why I’ve had to relegate that activity to playing draft and prerelease at my LGS or at home with friends. Can imagine how hard it is having to run a channel like this when this is how you keep your views up. Definitely reached a level of malaise /depression in other hobbies this year too. Have you been feeling ok?

I got three set and two collector boosters this past weekend did not pull anything out of the collectors but got a goose doubling season and a land tax both non foil…

Heads up, wizards at it again. I saw it first on cracking packs mtg this morning, and had to come back to you and see. He opened a set booster box today, and every pack only had 14 total cards in every pack, as do yours. Wizards says 15 on the pack, but only has 14.

Haven’t played magic in like 12 years, came here just to see if new cards were worth returning to the game and you drop the “the games not what it was a few years ago, makes me teary” …I guess I’m not coming back lmao

You're in good company. I absolutely love this game and play weekly. When a box comes out, I usually split one with my buddy depending on the price. It's still fun to sit and open packs, but it doesn't feel as exciting as it did a couple of years ago. I rarely open packs or boxes anymore, so I don't think your content necessarily has everything to do with your feeling. I genuinely think it's product fatigue.

I pulled a Beseech the Mirror from a set booster, only got 4 packs so far besides pre release.

Just opened 9 Collector boxes! Didn't get 1 beseech, doubling season, necro or confetti foil! I have witnesses and will tell the game store if need be! Opened all of it in front of them.sealed case and a half worth to note. Two of the nine boxes were solid. Two of the nine boxes were good. Two of the boxes was ok. The other three was trash.. I was on a quest to get the confetti. I had to give up, I am so upset I might set fire to all the I bought, strongly considering it.

You want me to brag about my pull? Ok. I did two prereleases. First one I opened foil Sneak attack and a non foil doubling season. Also went 3-0 Second flight, my promo was beseech the mirror, which I sold for $30, so the second flight was free.

I play both PC and phone.... but playing on the phone is kind of a headache because it crashes WAY to much.

I play arena on my phone. It gets the job done.

I think part of the problem is that a new magic set comes out every month it seems. It's just too much. Would definitely like to see you brew up some crazy arena deck though. I do miss watching you play the game.

Build some decks, play some games. Have fun with the game beyond creating content. I think a lot of people are starting to feel a little burnt out on the pace of releases. It feels like I barely get enough time to play one set before another is released. WotC needs to give us some time to collect, learn, build, and play the cards in between releases.
