David Warburton I was born and raised in Annapolis and I’d certainly say that’s an accurate statement after a decade of meeting midshipman and now having former classmates who are midshipman.
ultimate shota not even close. The MMA is completely different. That’s for commissioning for Ship Officers on public shipping lines. Think of it like the Academy for “pilots,” but for tankers, cargo ships and cruise lines. However not considered actual military service. The USNA DOES in fact have either the Naval or Marine Corps option.
Young man this is a great representation of the fun parts of the Naval academy even though I went more than 20 years ago. People should realize that this isn’t a video of the difficult parts it shows the memorable parts that were great
@@severity7672 not necessarily, your grades in navy flight school do matter somewhat but depending on the need of the navy their could be only a few or no Jet or heavy airplane billets available so you would have to choose helicopters
With a video with only a couple thousand views, I wasn’t expecting the video to have such great quality. Good luck man! I know you’ll make a great Ensign, and I look forward to calling you my shipmate one day dude.
I’m only 14 right now and I’m entering high school next year so I’m trying my hardest in hopes of getting into USNA and honestly this is really inspiring.
This shows all of the fun parts though. There a lot of other things that weren’t videoed. Overall, four years of work with some relaxed points (the parts shown) seems to be able to prepare officers pretty well. (Though to be honest, I would love to go through the USMC boot camp even if I get into USNA. I wish they had more than Leatherneck Training, which is four weeks.)
Incredible editing! Thank you so much for the entertainment. I’m an Air Force veteran and was recruited by the USNA for tennis over a decade ago and this video almost made me regret not signing haha. I wish you so much luck and I’m constantly praying for each and every one of you 🙏🏾 Visiting the USNA today!
seriously bust your as man. make sure you joining school clubs and make sure you are LEADING those school clubs or at least in some sort of leadership role. they look for a lot for that shit. score at least a 1400 on the sat, and be active in your community. playing a sport really helps as well. i wish you the best of luck man. I wish I knew more about it before I joined the Marines because I would have loved to go
If you’re a star athlete false. My son is a football player at the Naval Academy and got in with all B’s and C’s, athletes are held to a much lower standard.
Caroline Crocker-Kozar I didn’t know this either especially as a Canadian but I can see why I mean it’s a great way to have fun and keep up your physical strength and maybe pick up more teamwork skills
Wow Elliott, Great job on the video! Thanks for taking the time to document your plebe year! Good luck on your youngster year and Go Navy Beat Army! - An USNA 2nd company Dad
This was SO awesome to see on my Monday morning suggested page. My husband is a grad and this made me so nostalgic of all the memories I have myself being able to experience so many awesome USNA events. It goes by so fast - enjoy all the memories you make.
Set on getting into one of the academies for years now, and this video just makes me want it even more. The editing is insane in this video. Subscribing instantly.
Thank you so much for making this video. I’m a rising senior in highschool and it’s been my dream to go to the US Naval Academy. This film makes everyone feel so immersive to what life as a midshipmen is like at the USNA. Definitely motivates me more to keep pursuing my dream!
I live in North Carolina as well, and I can attest that Pisgah National Forest has some of the most beautiful scenery and best camping spots in the country.
Hey! I was in Madison ward's squad at the summer stem you staffed. (We're still mad at you for attacking us with water balloons btw) Crazy how this ended up in my recommended haha. Hope you're doing well :)
First time I’ve ever subbed to a Channel after the first «random» video popped into my recommended feed. Great work, loved the edit. Crossing my fingers that the rest of your uploads are as good as this one.
Bro when I went to the naval academy I think I achieved two things... - Slapping a peanut butter jar against my head. - Breaking the soft serve machine. Also I went there for summer stem, it was fly.
That may have something to do with the fact that your average sailor will not do a foot patrol or anything close to it... whereas a Marine or Soldier cook or supply is doing patrols casually. Then you have your actually infantry who live for that shit. So I mean it makes sense.
First of all thank you for serving man! Second, holy f this video is epic and makes me think back on my college days. Enjoy it, it's the best 4 years imo.!
