For shorts you need 3 million views in total I believe. I think it’s harder to monetize that way honestly. You get watch hours from making videos that’s how I did it lol

Nope it’s only any views going forward on your videos whether they were uploaded previously to monetization or not, basically they don’t back pay 😭 crazy ain’t it?
