Hey jim. I wanted to thank you for your videos. 2 days ago I was like an ape banging some rocks together. Today it is like I have evolved into the earliest form of man. Able to make the most basic of arrowheads and blades. I hope to evolve as I travel along my own knapping journey. Thanks

That's wonderful news! There's several of us that have been talking trying to figure out what happened to Jim and if he's ok. If you know him please tell him he isn't just one of many, and for me personally Jim is a hero for freely sharing his knowledge. Looking forward to seeing him again on RU-vid.

Paleomanjim, Love your knapping work and the instruction to go with it. You appear to have "made the movie" for DC Waldorf's book. I got my first arrowhead at age 4 pulling weeds in my mother's vegetable garden in Door Co. WI and have never stopped looking for them. When I couldn't find enough points, I started making them. Waiting for the next video!

If you don't mind me asking a couple of questions you may have heard many times; how did you come to discover the art of flintknapping & did you have a mentor of sorts, or were you self-taught through trial & error?
